Just a shout out to all my fellow Texas gals. Hope you all faired well with the hurricane. We had to cut our vacation short by a day to get home and prepare for the storm. It was a nasty storm and we were smack dab in the middle of it. We’re all cleaned up back up to 100% but our infrastructure is still a mess with massive power outages. Hmmm, I just might have to get dressed up tonight because there is nothing else to
@nickicd the eye of the storm went through my neighborhood. Some folks had no damage, some had catastrophic damage. I was in the middle. I had an outbuild lose its roof. Lost three huge oak trees. However my house was spared. Good thing I own a tractor cause it’s gonna take a month in this 100°F temps and 90% humidity to get it all cleaned up…
No electricity, so no A/C. I’ll be at my parents until I get electricity…
@cathryn sorry to hear about the damage you suffered from the storm - hope the clean up goes okay - I know it isn't easy to go thru that

I’m so glad to hear that you are doing ok Nicki. I’ll assume that if you have internet, that you have power, and that means air conditioning, so I hope you get to dress to give you a break from the clean up.
