Yes, I finally got a set of breast forms. They are self-adhesive, triangle shape C cup forms. Apparently C is bigger than I had envisioned in my head, but it’s all good. It’s kind of funny how natural it feels to have some shape to fill out tops. I also quickly realized how many of my tops just fit my flat chested body, and aren’t really going to work with the forms in. 🙂
Anyway, I have a question for you girls who are more experienced with such things. I initially ordered them, because I have a costume dress that has these loose fabric, poofy areas for the breasts. And it just didn’t look right with a flat chest. The forms do fill out the dress nicely. But, my problem is that it is a low cut dress in the front. And the edges of the forms stick out and show, maybe up to an inch. How do I blend/conceal or hide that, so people can’t see the forms?
Thanks!
Nancy
Hi Nancy, your forms and/or bra cups showing in the neckline of your dress is one of the perils of crossdressing! You tend to need bras with full coverage cups rather than a demi-cup or balcony style, so as to hide the obvious edges of the forms and also to help them stay in place. That in turn restricts the width/depth/scoop of the neckline you can get away with.
If you have any natural breast growth at all (and most men do have something from middle age onwards) you could try pulling your own tissue diagonally inwards and upwards as you settle your forms into the bra cups, before letting the forms stick to your chest again. This will also give you more fullness in the upper breast area, although not cleavage. That's assuming you're wearing a bra, of course. If not, all I can suggest is to stick the forms on diagonally outwards and lower so that if/when the dress gathers them up, it's into the right position, but that rather depends on the dress.
You could put on a camisole to hide the forms or you could pin the material together
Yay! Mine have 1 hole in each so I gotta rebuy a clone of what forms I have.
I’ve tried a few different bras that I have. Nothing is really perfect, but I have a black sports bra that covers the forms well. I’m leaning toward just letting the edge of the bra be visible at this point. It’s for a costume outfit anyway, not formal evening wear or anything like that…
