Woke up this beautiful Monday morning, showered and shaved everything. Put on Capri skinny jeans, yellow lace top and white scrunchy sneakers. Went grocery shopping and it felt wonderful with the nicer warm weather and wearing spring style clothing. Walking in I was greeted by "Hello Young Lady" and of course that made my morning even happier. I walked the isles putting what I needed for the week in my cart and got in the checkout line. A young girl was checking me out and complemented my top and how she is so glad it's spring so we can stop wearing winter clothing. I told her thanks and said summer is my favorite and love summer fashions. She ended my purchase with "Have a great day ma'am". I said thanks and walked out smiling knowing this is a wonderful way to start a day! So enjoy your day and week girls and take that big step out your door and enjoy life!
Hugs,
Sandy
Such a great way to start your day Sandy. I now find I do almost all my grocery shopping en femme along with mall shopping and most errands like to the hardware store and beyond. The experience is so much fun compared to doing this stuff in male mode
Hi Sandy,
What a great start to your day! Such a day brightened.

I had a funny experience at the grocery store last month. I had a whole cart of groceries and some alcohol as well. The nice young lady at the checkout and I were chatting and she saved the alcohol to ring up last. She asked for my ID. I handed it to her and a puzzled look came over her face. Two more times she looked at my ID, and back at me. I said "Is something wrong, do you see my birthdate ?" She said "No, I found it." I paid and she was very nice as I left. I pass pretty well, but sometimes my voice gives me away. By the time she'd asked for my ID I thought maybe she'd figured it out, but guess she hadn't.
Like Sandy said, it's the interactions with people while out that really make the experience. I've been going out for years, but you just never know what reactions you will get. Most people you encounter out and about are very friendly. Really the biggest thing is to be friendly, confident and act like you belong there. People can read your eyes and body language, especially other women.

Sandy,
That kind of affirmation is GOLD! How fun! 😊
