So I finally told one of my long time friends about Rachael. I sent her a couple of pictures when we were texting each other yesterday. She was totally cool with it all and came round to mine for a coffee today. I was just in jeans and sweatshirt with my normal makeup and hair and it was a brilliant experience. To actually sit down and chat about all that has happened on this journey I'm on and where I'm at now was so nice. It seemed a little strange at first - I couldn't help feeling a bit scared - as I've had no social contact with anyone in person when dressed and then to suddenly be sat next to her chatting about girly things was amazing for me. She was totally excepting and supportive of it all and even suggested we go out to a coffee shop next time she calls round. To say this has given me a huge boost is an understatement.
That is so sweet Rachael. Good for you. It will be nice to go out with another girlfriend.

Wonderful! It's so special having a GG friend to share with. I have a couple GG friends that are so supportive. Unfortunately they live about two hours away so we don't meet up often but when we do it's "look out world!" Shopping, lunch, shopping, dinner and home to try everything on. They are a big part of my life.
