Hi

Afternoon,  does anyone know if there are any suppliments or vitamins that slow hair growth.

Seems that I am shaving all the time, and have a constant shadow on my face.

Thanks

Marcie, the only thing I can think of is estrogen but you may not like the side effects. Sandy.

I wish!!!  As Sandy has said - oestregen might help.  Otherwise you are stuck with shaving, waxing, IPL, laser or electrolysis.  I went down the laser route - great results, but not perfect, so shaving still features.

Hi again Marcie! About the estrogen you’re asking the wrong little girl. As much as I would like to get into the trans kinda thing I in my current position it’s just not possible.

First of all you’ll grow boobs which we would all like to have our double DD’s but you might not like the looks at the beach. You’ll loose a lot of your sexual appetite I guess that’s so if whether you’re into men or women. A lot of the ladies on the site are taking alternative meds but have no clue. Sorry I couldn’t help more sweetie, Sandy.

I quit shaving. I just learn to dress with a big beard and hairy legs.

Wife said I look like a aging heavy meatal rock star when dressed.

So if you got it, flaunt it. Make it work for you.

I think I have seen a discussion on this topic before, either in CDH or elsewhere. Someone seemed to have reasonable results with some kind of lotion. Try this website for ideas.... Just add the www

I take Kalo, natural herbal supplement.

minimizing lotions: veeno, GiGi, Vaniga.

Testosterone levels are at least partially responsible in the regulation of hair growth. You can manipulate the hair growth by consuming phytoestrogens. (I eat/drink soy, soy, soy)

I have a friend that applies a paste of turmeric and yogurt on her face daily... Good luck!

Hi Marcie Hair growth is always going to be a issue especially for us when it comes to our face.  Hiding our five oclock shadow can only be done with a second shave just before applying make up even then you need a good concealer base. Most cis woman deal with similar issue their hair is much finer and softer and does grow back slower. That is because of the estrogen that is being produced in their bodies. Some of us choose to go that route by modifying our hormone levels of estrogen . Only do that under the guidence of a qualifed physician. Modifying hormone levels just to slow down hair growth is extreme It can be dangerous to your overall health. It also does produce breast growth and other changes  that may seem inviting for some of us who may want to begin changing their body shape.  It also can be very expensive. The best solution is shaving and make up.  Go to a professional just tell them what you want and they will be more than happy to sell you the best products for your skin type and shade. I know it is a little scary at first but most experts will invite your hard earned money and are happy to help.. Its a good question and is something we all have to deal with even our cis sisters have to deal with the same. Luv Stephanie

Anti androgens will do this partially but they block out testosterone so you will lose a lot other masculine features too. There are herbal anti androgens but there has been little to no testing for their effectiveness. Most notable spearmint tea. Also while soy gets a lot of press it is equally largely untested and the grow tested that have been done come back with inconclusive results. Probably best to go and talk to a pharmacist.
