Halloween is a holiday for crossdressers.  It is limited only by our imaginations and needlessly self imposed limits.

Halloween, the national crossdressers day!
Be careful hun, many girls like us are outed at Halloween. Why? Because of the little things, walking too well in heels, too many or too convincing feminine mannerisms etc. etc.

Your being an actor (actress) may excuse your being comfortable in the female role! Good luck!!

As others have posted Halloween is a crossdress ers holiday.  Go glam and all out as your favorite femme fatale.

I would say to go glam, but you might want someone to help with the makeup.  Not that you can't do it, quite the opposite.  If people think you did your own makeup they might wonder how you learned to do it so well.  The same thing might be said of going "too far," such as breast forms (you might want to use a cheap alternative) or corset and/or padding.  You don't want to look like you broke the bank just to attend the party as a woman.  Even movements, you might want to have someone "coach you" ahead of time so you have an alibi of where you learned to be so good.

Julie go for it. If it was me, I would go all the way only with the encouragement and help of friends.  Theatre friends should be happy to help. Borrow a dress and items as needed and only purchase items that are required if not too expensive.  We know you already have everything, but you need to look cool. Play dumb and get all the help you need. Good luck, whatever way you go. We will be looking forward to photos of the fun event. New this season would be dressed as CRUELLA.

If the crowd is all theater people then I would have no reservations Julie. Have done full drag and costume girls like Elvira at halloween and have always enjoyed it. So many men do it that its hardly seen as an outing.

Well Grace I guess I am a "Luvvie". All through my school years my school put on entertaining variety shows, done in two parts, for the parents. The first part was a variety show which all the classes participated and the second half was what was known as a Minstrel. My mom and dad produced and directed a couple of these shows and both my sister and I sang some solo's in these shows. One of the variety show that my parents did was based on the hit show Cabaret. My sister and I danced the Charleston. so I I was a Singer, Dancer and an Actor in my younger years.

In addition I belonged to a few glee clubs. After High school my brother  sister and I preformed in local stage shows such as Annie Get Your Gun, Of  Thee I Sing, The Mikado, Two Hearts three Rings and a few others. So yes I guess I was a "Luvvie".

Glam all the way. Go over the top. Tight, sparkly, boobs out to here and legs up to there.

Have fun!
