Hi Julie,

There is the possibility that I also will be going to a Halloween party.

My thoughts are that if you go as Julie, the way you want to dress, then I would say that your friends will not mistake your outfit for a Halloween costume.

I would say that if you do not want to reveal  yourself fully and leave room to manouvre then go in full glam or, as you have mentioned, Catwoman or similar character.

Just a suggestion.

Hugs,

Aurora

I went to work once on Halloween dressed fully as a cheerleader and no one thought it was anything other than a costume, although one guest thought I should consider transitioning to a girl as it was so natural to me. Do what you want and don't worry about what anyone else thinks.

Julie,

Do not miss this opportunity to “star!”  But go subtle!  The truth is that many more than actual CDs enjoy dressing up as the other sex.  That’s why it has been a consistent theme in the theater.  Give these people your best effort.  Pick your best look and do not worry about being “outed.”  If your use of foundation garments, makeup, or walking proficiently in high heels surprises some, true thespians will admire your craft.  They may recognize that this is not “your first rodeo,” but, only the other CDs in the group will recognize your compulsion.  This is your chance to see if you can look good to others regardless of passing.  If you have a stunning date to accompany you, it will be all the better.  Remember, feminine clothing is art more than function if it’s done with care and planning.  Be sophisticated not clownish.  Knock their sox off and earn their respect and admiration.  I wish I had the same opportunity!

If you go out as Julie, you my be outting yourself, but if Julie was to dress as a witch, or a superhero, you might keep your crossdressing private, my first time out in public was a Halloween Party, this year my wife asked me to dress as a Witch for a Halloween Charity walk, wear I'm sure pictures will be taken and posted to FB, possibly raising some questions about my dressing, but I'm going for it, I'll finally get out again, we are even going out to eat afterwards.

Just dressing in Fem may out you as others have said. I would oick some sort of female characte, star, super hero and dress as them and go all out. You get the best of both worlds. You get to be full fem and dressed to the max, and your secret stays safe. Way back 30 some odd years ago, my school had a misfit pageant where The guys dressed as girls. I wanted to go, had to go, And I absolutely loved it. I dressed as Farrah Faucet. Short skirt, high heels, pantyhose, blonde wig, halter top. I was full out and nobody suspected a thing(as far as I know). And I was hooked from them on.

I like the total glam idea. You tell everyone your Ginger from Ghilligans Island and wear a very form fitting sexy formal and rock some exquisite high heels. Just don’t forget the “beauty mark” and big hair and then its a “costume”.
