Hi girls
I haven't found anything on this subject. Seeing that we all have garment's that we should hand wash. Some things you have to hand wash they'll fall apart. Does anyone else think that things come out cleaner? When I wash things by hand, I'll wash them until there's not even slightly discolored water. I'll rinse every drop of soap. If I machine wash something I can wear it for a few hours then wash it by hand the machine just didn't get it that clean.
Thanks
Christie Marie

Another everyday unanswered question. I hand wash all my delicates - lingerie. Those that have made it into the Washer I either hang dry or allow to dry on a white towel. I have panties and bras all over my house! My house cleaners must be very curious. Then realized I have to leave more things about. I now hang dresses and, well other things that make their way about. I do own quite a few bras so they are infrequently washed. Pantyhose get caught around the spinners - may as well kiss them goodbye. Clothing do well in W/D but must watch cycles and softener.

Oh how I hate hand washing. I try to only buy items that are machine wash. I have items saved up for Saturday morning to be hand washed and hung out on the line.

My panties are machine washable.  All my other lingerie and hosiery are hand washed.  I bought a special detergent for my handwashing and it's good stuff.

Since my one piece swimsuits are designed for water, I can safely machine wash them. I send them into the washer with my normal male clothes, but I do not put them into the dryer. I hang them up on my shower curtain rod to dry. Since the wife left, I've been living alone and almost never meet my friends at my house or theirs, so no need to keep them hidden at home.

I use Woolite for my silks on a machine 'Hand Wash' cycle, they are still fine after many years. I used to wash all my stuff (male and female) together on a 'quick wash' but I now wash them separately, male stuff copes with it, girly stuff doesn't, perhaps that's why girly clothes feel so much softer - they need so much more care, which I now do.

So many of my white undies are now grey (due to the mixed washing described above) so they now get washed separately as well, with a lingerie whitener. Still a lot of work to do, but I will get there eventually.

For nylons, I use a lingerie wash bag. Cheap and effective. Before that, trying to separate the tights/stockings after a wash was like trying to unravel the mysteries of the universe, how those knots formed was unbelievable.

I usually  put my socks and undies in a nylon mesh bag and wash them with other clothes on "light" cycle. Dry the undies on "Delicate".  Dresses and skirts always washed/dried separately on light/delicate.

Hi trebora

Don't worry about what you're cleaning people think.

You just have a wonderful woman they've never met who spends a lot of time with you.  Like me the two of you spend so much time together it's like you're one beautiful person.Keep dressing.......  Christie Marie

My wardrobe is predominately a large variety of panties in different styles and materials.... however I find that most of my items are good with cold water delicate cycle for washing and lowest temperature delicate cycle on the dryer (no matter how long it takes). I find this essential for ANYTHING that stretches. Heat kills elasticity. My wife uses a drying rack for many of her items just to prevent shrinking. As for hand washing, only as a stain preventative. Cold water and a gentle hand soap in the bathroom before throwing in the laundry basket while still damp has helped keep stains from setting in. The only exception I have is for a few Satin pair I have. If they don't air dry they get pilly. Never hang anything up by the elastic/straps. Stretchy material needs to rest to resume it's shape so if it dries stretched......

Autumn,

Wow such simple things for us all to remember.  Really great laundry tips.  Some girls new to dressing, don't think about these helpful hints.  I've married more than once.  My wives were never this careful with their fine garments.  I know myself the guy comes out sometimes when I do laundry.  You know though it all in one wash.. wishing I didn't do that.. always ruining my favorite something .......keep dressing. Alice I know what you mean... Men's Levi's jeans .... Wear until they stand up on their own then take to river and beat on a rock. Repeat every few years as needed. Women's undies...... Oooops I put in a pair of shorts with felcro in the wash with my undies and the felcro ripped a hole in one of my favorite frilly panties.....

I believe everything women's is made more delicate by design.

You you are the laundry expert. I try to get clothes that can be washed on delicate or I just take to dry cleaners. I hate to have to do laundry.
