Years ago a friend's sister had a Halloween party and I dressed up, my x-wife helped with my make-up she didn't go, My oldest daughter went with me shopping that day to help me find a dress and bra at Salvation Army. I went shopping more later and it was so funny I was at a K-Mart looking for shoes and this little kid saw me trying on shoes and he took off when he saw me. LOL My daughter just brought it up to me this year about me dressing up back then. If she only knew!! I had to hide my enthusiasm from everyone but I loved being able to dress that day.
I wish!!! That would be a dream! but seems now I’m too old for Halloween shenanigans. If I showed up in a dress there would be no talking out of the fact that it was my choice LOL
When I first fully had the cd talk with my wife maybe around 7 years ago that was one of her suggestions was for us to just plan a trip every year on Halloween so I could have some Sara time. We live in a small town and almost no one knows so we always go to a somewhere like Vegas, Atlanta, Miami, or DC. We always plan something for both of us to enjoy and I usually let her lead the way with planning which ends up with me doing a lot more than I would do by myself. I have been to numerous concerts, clubs, music festivals, comedy shows, casinos and several Halloween parties in all kinds of costumes. We usually try and theme our costumes together which is always fun. No one cares and just own it and have fun.
Just this year, as a nun, for a Halloween party. It was my first public appearance. Padded out my hips 2 inches on each side and stuffed a C- cup bra. Red eye makeup, mascara, eyeliner, lipstick, etc. Won first place, was unrecognized until I spoke.
Fun interacting as Rita. Too bad it weirded out my wife.
Around 15 years ago I was a member of the Rose's Repartee forum. They had annual meetups, and I went to one in a small town in Derbyshire called Matlock Bath. It lasted several days, and spanned Halloween, so naturally a witch costume party was held.
I wore a lovely maroon dress with black ankle boots and a maroon hat I'd bought online.
Next day in the bar I met a woman who said she was going to a Halloween fancy dress party as a witch but had no hat, so I gave her mine.
this is my sole time for being here and for this hobby. I don’t care to deal with the restrictions of daily life like some others’ compulsions lead them to. Fortunately, I splurge only once a year and am HAPPY with that.
I wanted to do something over the top for Halloween one year. A trip with friends ended just prior and I was in Vegas. They left for work so I was alone and determined to get into something over the top, exaggerated and most importantly out of my comfort zone. Amy at Just You threw an annual (sadly not any more) Halloween party. Get a makeover and receive an open bar! Say no more, and I was in! I was in! Never having done it before I was hooked. I didn’t even know how to shave my legs and went as far as doing everything except cutting it off in a couple days. Taped so tight for the minidress…No hair, got earrings (pierce the top four and clip big hoops to the bottom!), color pedicure in short shorts, glue on nails to save time and not lose any, and go public with bra in tight shirt, pantyhose, heels, shopped a costume on the spot with girls help at the store and I looked good when all put together! What THE rush! This happened when I was 30 and looking good. Youth wasn’t wasted on the young these years. I won’t be doing this forever, so every year could be my last. Since then, I have found other Halloween parties there, and go to those. I missed last years, and shameless plug, have made a deal with my wife just days ago to let me go to Halfway to Halloween in APRIL 2025 (info in events section), it’s the fetish fantasy, the largest…fueled party, if I lose weight. 165 is what she says and she grins when I say that this will be good for my girlish figure! She does not support me but with communication and honesty, she has let me go in the past. Yes I wish that we’d go together but it’s too much for her. I have not been (just) a girl for Halloween but much prefer to costume up! I think that it’s sexier. I’ve seen the girl FOR the costume and you will be clocked doing that. Not my style…Getting hit on by girls makes my night. Acceptance by them makes my night. The LESS THAN 1% (of women) who don’t approve still take my compliments of my understanding the work it takes to be attractive and even this has lead to a good conversation. In fact, all I do is talk to girls. It’s harmless. I’m married so I don’t have to hustle! If you can use some pushing, please join me in April 2025. If you’re a partier like me, please join. The more the merrier!
Hotels will be cheap. I expect airlines too. (Yah I check that bag that has all the silicone).
yes, they DID lose / delay my bag last time! Planning for that, I had put my yoga pants, bra and girl shirt in my carryon. After being beat up with all this DEI movement at work and life recently, and experienced that NO ONE CARES, I decided to use it to my advantage! I got a normal makeup/makeover at 9am, dressed up (no wig though lol) to go get my bag from the airport!
let’s have some fun in April’25
This is my first time dressing up in a female costume. I think I picked a good one too this year. Next year I am going as the crow from Brandon Lee movie.
One Halloween, I was treated, not tricked. At age 13, my mother helped me dress as a girl for the holiday. I donned my older sister's clothes, which she no longer wore. It was the usual skirt, blouse, panties, pantyhose, and bra. My mom even took the time to do my makeup for me. In those days, there weren't any wigs around, so she had me wear one of her hats. Mom knew about my obsession, and she was okay with me dressing up for Halloween as a girl because a few years back, she caught me wearing my sister's panties. Trick or treating was great fun that year, and I'll never forget the only time I ever went out around town dressed en femme.
