This post is a big thank you to Vanessa, the Ambassadors and CDH members for making me feel welcome as a crossdresser! I had my third makeup lesson today and just posted some new pictures, and realized I need to say thank you to everyone who visits this site for making me feel welcome - and normal.
As we all know it is not easy being a man who needs to present feminine, and there is plenty of negative feedback out there that we have to overcome. So having access to group of people who accept you for who you are is very empowering. It is wonderful to connect with others who can relate to the need to put on a pair of heels and try a new lipstick after a day in male mode. There is no question that joining this website gave me the courage to take makeup lessons.

Kendra ; beautifully written. My sentiments exactly. I too love this site. the warmth that I feel here really helped me in opening up , given me the confidence and .courage to face these feelings. Know people here do understand and can help when help is needed. And safe; a place where one can totally be themselves with no persecution. I so agree with the previous sentiments expressed by the ladies here. I must live as a guy outside my front door, the only give away is my nails. Such is the life of a closet dresser. Bronwyn
Bronwyn, my reason given to those few who mention my nails is simply the truth. I like them that way. Then there are the delightful women who admire my nails which is very nice time of sharing for both of us.
