High heel withdrawals are definitely a thing! Every time I get a chance to spend some serious time click-clacking around in heels, my flat, heavy, ugly guy's shoes feel almost unbearably drab.

I have strained my Achilles tendon on the right foot, so even walking around home in heels hasn't happened.  At my age it doesn't get better quickly.

I have worn some wedge sandals a few times recently, including on shopping trips, which I can wear for a little while.  But I've been spending more time in either ballet flats or my pink Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers.

Before I retired I sometimes wore a a pair of black tassel loafers with a 2” wedge heel. I wore appropriately long pants (usually also black). I was never questioned over a period of a couple of years.

Hi Jennifer wearing heels is a wonderful feeling when Stephanie gets to visit. I didn't get the stay at home work scenario  I was considered essential so kept working but I get to most weekends with wifes ok and every evening after work and after shower put on nighty panties and sometime heels but mostly flats . my wife some times giggles when I put on heels before bed time and cant forget some lipstick keeps my lips from chapping during winter I never need chap stick I can wear 2-3 inch pretty easly now still practice on 4s still a little wobbly but getting there thanke.

I am BEYOND jealous.

I had heels on both yesterday and today. Beautiful three inch heel nude pumps.

I have to learn to walk in them again.

DeeAnn, funny you should mention the 2 inch heels with the tassels.  I wear something very similar (I have a block heel instead of a wedge) with my suit to keep the back of the pant hem from hitting the floor and ripping.

The pants I would normally wear would be about halfway down the wedge. They are Easy Spirit but now out of production.

Hi Jennifer you poor dear, that must be awful, not being able to wear them as much .

I love high heels so much,I would love to be able to wear them all day.

But being able to wear them all day and having it taken away is cruel and unusual punishment I think.
