Greetings ladies,

Like most men I have no hips or butt. I am 6' tall and the rest of me has more padding than I would like. I have tried a few hip and booty pads from well known stores online but non seem to give me the curves I want. I am not looking for drag queen sizes but more than the one inch when not compressed size I have now. I have seen videos on how to make your own using foam but that seems a bit tacky to me. Also, I hesitate to order online as most do not allow returns if not right.

Have any of you found a source for larger hips pads and if so, could you post a link please?

Thanks from Rachel

Not a GG, but a GG recommended to me are the silicone DressTech Crossdressing Hip Pads. They're pricey, but they give you a decent look without being over the top. The woman  says celebrity GG's use them often.

I was able to wear two for an hour or two during my recent makeover. The only tricky thing is they have to be adjusted a little bit whenever your sit down or stand up. Not a dealbreaker, IMHO.

Butt padding were separate pieces, and we used simple, non silicone pads.

I think you are right about foam . My new body shaper came with foam pads .I threw them away and replaced with silicone pads. They were not that expensive for a set of two. I got 4 pads in total two for hips and two for the butt. The body shaper has pocketts for all in the right places. I bought third panty to go over the the body shaper that has pads sown into butt portion but pads are in a higher location than lower  to give a much rounder and complete look.  I bought them at the Glamour Boutique in Auburn Mass. I believe thay were $19.00 a set. Hope that was helpful luv Stephanie.

Hard plastic hip pads are not designed for comfort!  If you stand up all day or ride a skateboard  the extra padding may come in handy  1/10

Don't knock home made..... made to measure sponge pads, they don't slide about to give the 'lopsided' look and are easily shaped with an electric carving knife. 8/10

Padded pants could be the answer if you can get a pair that fit you 5/10

I have all ,Silicone, foam and homemade foam pads and depending on the outfit I sometimes use a combination of them, I think you just are going to have to keep experimenting until you get the right feel and look.

Check out The Breast Form Store which is a sponsor here. I have some and love them.

I can't say the size range they sell but would think they have a good assortment.

I'll second the DressTech pads.  They are pricey, but worth it in my opinion.  When I wear them with tights or a shaper, they stay put and give me the proportions I'm looking for. They're comfortable too. I forget I'm wearing them.  Having hip pads and breast forms that feel like they are a natural part of me is so worth the expense.  Short of hormones and surgery, I think it's the closest I can get to having a female body.

I've heard the pads from the BreastForm Store are just as good, and are just as expensive.

There are some affordable options out there.  Feelfoxy.com and Lovemybubbles.com sell padded panties with silicone inserts.  I bought a pair from Lovemybubbles and they are decent.  But they tended to shift around a lot, and were a bit over the top on my body.  I kinda had a Kardashian booty when I wore them!  YMMV.

Hugs, Emily.

I always been a big fan of the BreastFoamStore but I think I'm going to try DressTech for hip pads and thanks for that advice. I agree that some things need to be the best you can buy, The Price of Pretty.

Thanks for all the advice from all the girls,       Hugs DeDee

I also have the Dress Tech silicone hip pads and just love them. I'm on my third set, I purged twice in the past. Stupid me. But this set is here to stay. I wore them for over 11 hours last sunday, they felt like part of me. I just love these pads. Yes they are pricey but worth every penny.

I will chime in and also endorse the Dresstech products.  They are a quality product that look very natural.  They stay put well without adhesive if you use shapewear.  I also use the butt pads, but wish they made a bigger size for my non existent backside.  I have started to wear two pads on each side, slightly offset, and that works well.  The other thing that produces surprisingly good results, is to wear an Underworks padded girdle with the hip pads.
