Hey everybody!! I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe through all of this craziness!
I have a question for all of you. Has anyone actually checked into a hotel and gone up to the counter en femme? That takes guts and I am not sure I have that much.
Let me lay this out a bit. I travel a lot for my career and many times I am close enough to drive to my destination. When that happens, many times I will drive as Dana and spend the day...as Dana. It is not as hard to do this because the hotels that normally stay at have what's called a digital key. For those who may not travel as much as I do, I can check in and check out on my phone now. AND I can use my phone as the key to get into my room. So, I never have to go to the front desk unless I want to. I have done this many times and it works.
But today, I made a mistake and booked a hotel that does not have this digital key so I will have to go to the front desk to get my key. UGH!! Do I go as Dana and see what happens? Or no? I am so torn and I am thinking that I am not that courageous.
Anyone ever experience this? How did it go? I am sure that someone has and I am sure there is already a string on this but I could not find one. My apologies if this is too repetitive.
Thanks...Hugs.
Dana.
Hi Dana
I have never experienced this, as i do not check-in in Fem. My biggest concern would be that most hotels I frequent require photo ID when checking in and before receiving the room key/key card. Two things to consider with that, is how confident you are when presenting your current situation and is the Hotel clerk going to deny your ID, or even worse going to be an ass and intentionally make a scene over your ID and attire just to draw attention to you? Just my two cents...

I got locked out of a hotel once using the side door while fully dressed and had to strut my stuff right in front of the hotel desk to get back to my room. There was a female clerk and two business men there that stopped what they were doing and watched me walk through and to the elevators. They got a good look at me but I didn't have to speak to anyone.
I don't think you should have any problem with the staff if you just act normal and present as well as you can. Be brave and go for it. I'm sure it would be exciting and something to remember.
Thank you Chelly. You bring up some great points.
Dana
Thank you Michelle and thank you for sharing your experience. Did you hear anything negative as you strutted by? I have walked through a lobby before and not had a bad experience. I am not sure what everyone thought, but nothing negative was mentioned....at least that I heard.
Thanks again. Dana
Hi Dana. No nothing was said at all. All three of them just stared. I think the business men probably wanted to talk.... lol
They were probably mesmerized by a gorgeous woman walking through the lobby. Their thoughts were probably about buying you a drink at the bar. LOL
Dana
Awww... you are so sweet. I hope I was attractive enough for two business men.... lol
I feel for you but can offer no advice as when I am out of the house the only fem thing I wear is a panty under my drab. However, there are ladies on here who because of being in an accident bot getting pulled over by a cop have had to show their drivers license while en fem and I believe they all said the cops handled it and some even called them ma’am even though the license was for their male persona
I have talked with lots of different hotel desk staff, they have always seemed like they did not care and engaged in polite conversation talking about the weather, local places to go, clothes, shoes, etc. While I have never checked in as Paula I have charged items from the hotel store to the room as Paula without issue, just signed real name.
If you are concerned call the front desk the day before you leave and talk to them you will not have to tell them who you are, just ask if you are dressed as a lady and present your male ID and credit card will there be any problems.
Go in as Dana, they won't even bat an eye. Most people in the service industries you really can't shock anymore, you name it they've seen it so don't think twice and enjoy.
I have checked in numerous times fully dressed and made up. Never had any problems and have even gotten to know some staff solely as Carolyne. I have had the manager of one hotel I used to stay at take time to come out and welcome me back and let him know if I had any issues or needed anything to let him know directly and it would be taken care of. I always try to act proper and respectable and own it and have had no issues. I did one time at a hotel my male side used for work get locked out while fully dressed and had to march my girly butt up to the counter and get my keys remade. No issues, comments or problems. Own it and enjoy it.

It doesn't take courage, just be yourself!
Hotel staff are almost unshockable - most times I go in dressed and all that happens is that I get lovely comments on my evening outfits!
The only time I ever saw a receptionist surprised was the time I went in drab, and came out of my room femme!

Seems like a you go girl is in order here.😊
100% this!
When you go into a hotel en femme, that is you. That is the only "you" that the staff know.
They'll treat you like a paying guest, who might leave a review on Trip Advisor.
Hotels are fantastic bases for a femme weekend!
