We are all just prisoners here of our own device :).

Winslow, Arizona? I've been through there. Few times. That's what you call a small town.

When I read your post, I had to put on the live Hotel California on my device and listen to it. Most of the day I spent painting the ramp and porch rails on the front porch with my wife. Old t shirt, but cute panties and Lane Bryant short shorts, and boat shoes, showing off my shaved legs. Getting used to that, thanks! This evening texting with a dear friend going thru a frightening time, divorce. I told him he'll get thru it. Then I thought of another song. "How do you like me now?" by Toby Keith. I told him the best revenge is to live a good happy life. I've never once regretted divorcing my first wife. Y'all enjoy your weekend! Wherever you are!

Hi Grace,
how about "She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys that she calls friends"
One of my all-time favourite songs and yes, I've seen that Eagles live concert special. I was at a friend's funeral today and he picked folk songs for his music. My funeral will definitely have rock music and Hotel California will be one of the songs. Purgatory doesn't sound too bad - pink champagne on ice.
In Canada, we have a long weekend. It is Victoria Day on Monday (for Queen Vic). Do you celebrate that?
Take care, All the Best, Hugs, Krista.

Hi Sarah, when I was in a band, gee that would be about 25 years ago, "Take it Easy" was one of the songs we played. All the Best in Winslow. Hugs, Krista.
One of the greatest bands of all time for sure, Grace.
My weekend starts at 7am Sunday morning and I will definitely have all my Eagles playing on the car stereo. Will be staying in Amarillo until sometime Tuesday, shopping, dancing, "...the warm smell of caleetas, rising up through the air."
Maybe get some of the girls at the clubs lined up for a pic or two for some 'Pretty Maids All In A Row'.
Trivia Note: The Long Run album was the group's veiled notice that they were going to break up, and the songs were picked to convey that message to their fans. Though many did not pick up on that, and were quite upset when they announced it was official. The song from that album that always gets me almost teary and also singing right along with it is 'The Sad Cafe'. That song listed their regrets and was meant to be the LAST SONG, on the LAST SIDE, of their LAST ALBUM that fans would hear them sing. If you know it, play it again, if you've never heard it, find it and listen. It can definitely make you think about what you are doing within your life.
