I'm not a dancer. I hate dancing. The last time I danced was at my wedding reception 33 years ago, and then only because it's something you have to do.

I've just been to see Squeeze (A pop combo from the late 70s/80s) They were very good. The last 30 minutes was their greatest hits set. They really ramped up the fun and the tempo. Normally, I just sort of rock back and forth a bit. Maybe nod my head... Unless it's a rock concert, and full on headbanging mode is activated 🙂

So there I was enjoying the up tempo section of the concerts. Swaying away, and nodding my head.... I then discovered that I was wiggling my bum! A, what felt to me, cute side to side wiggle. I didn't know I could wiggle my bum. I was in Cerys mode. I was wearing a short denim skirt and heeled boots.... Maybe it was the boots? Maybe it was I let Cerys subconsciously take over. I was having a proper good old bum wiggle. What surprised me even more was that once I realised this, I really began to enjoy it. I'm just glad the there was no one behind us to witness this.
The concert finished, and as we were leaving my wife said "Were you wiggling your bum?". I replied that maybe I was, but it was not a conscious decision 🙂
I've never been one for taking on female actions. I don't walk in a feminine way. When I drink, it's ale, cider or vodka. I don't do cocktails or "girly" drinks. When I talk, I swear a lot, yet there I was wiggling my bum!  I'm scared that this develop into..... TWERKING!!!!!!! 🙂

I'm starting to wonder if living 95% of my time as Cerys  over the past 4 or 5 weeks is starting to have an effect 🙂

D'ya think? 😂😂😂

I think you have your own answer in your mention of the subconscious. Our conscious decisions and actions are often influenced by our subconscious mind, and it will have feminine and masculine aspects.

Allie has only been recognised and given agency by male me in the past 6 months or so and, strange as it may seem, male me is just discovering who she is and what she's like. For example, just in the past couple of weeks, the hair on my arms and hands has gone. It never occurred to male me to do that but, you know what, I like it.

It sounds like the Cerys part of your subconscious likes to wiggle, I'd say let her. Just be mindful of your location before you do!

Thanks for posting this, Cerys. It's Thought-provoking 🤔

Allie x

@dazzler Good for you Cerys!

Liking the sound of short denim skirt and heeled boots!

Don’t worry: you’re definitely not up the junction…😀

@joannat I have a photo of the outfit in the public gallery. The only difference is the skirt that is wore to the concert was about 2" longer.

Please let the CDH team know if it does develop into twerking.

Remember, we can mobilise a team of specialists at very short notice.

Bum wiggling on its own is nothing to be concerned about, but left untreated it can lead to the onset of more serious conditions ... of which twerking is perhaps the most widely known.

If the wiggling persists, try wedging yourself into a tight armchair, avoid listening to anything with even a hint of rhythm and take two spoonfuls of Night Nurse once every four hours.

If it gets significantly worse, call us on our 24 hour hotline.

We're here for you, Cerys.

@ellyd22 I'm out again tomorrow night. There will be music. It's a drag event/competition. I'm not taking part, I must add.

We'll be sat down, so not much chance for a bun wiggle 🙂

@dazzler I'll bet that Squeeze was a good time! I've been to a lot of concerts this year; the final one was Renaissance's last concert ever. I got this wild idea to go as a woman, and with some nice wardrobe choices, a manicure, and a makeover, I pulled it off! (see my profile photo) So good for you!

Sorry to hear that, but they must be getting up there. Back in the mid-70s, I saw them on one of their early tours.

I think it's a classic case of Pink Fog Syndrome!

Next you'll walk with a cute wiggle! There's no cure for this. So let the bum alone to do her thing!

It's also easier to dance wearing heals.

@dazzler lots of reasons to wiggle I guess. The good music, the short (tight?) skirt and a nice bum.

@dazzler interesting.   My ex wife noticed and commented on my “cute little wiggle” long ago.   I was a bit embarrassed by it, but she seemed to approve.

@dazzler lmao, I suspect you are just having fun with no stress but who knows? Most women can’t twerk properly anyway so why not you? Go for it hon. lol hugs, Jillleannep

@dazzler I remember when I got my fist set of heels I wore them for days.  Then I had a night with the guys and I had to catch myself as I was still walking around like a woman. and moving my hands in very feminine positions.  I had to stop for a minute and reset myself.. Its so addictive.  and feels so good to move that way vs the rigidity we have as men. I also have always hated dancing because I felt feminine and dumb . which stinks because its not only a great freedom of expression but also great exercise.  but alas im usually sitting at the table with the other guys watching our wifes have a great time and wish we felt we had that freedom.Cheers RC

Agreed with the lady’s possible being in fem and the mood your mind just naturally reacted and started a bum wiggle with the grove to the music must say my self do some unusual things dressed as well that I would never do as a male mood regardless it’s sounds like you had much fun and enjoyment that’s all that matters I say

I’ve been watching women “dance” for most of my life.  I’ve been quite intrigued by how little they actually have to move to look so fantastic.  I really think it has to do with the clothes that they (we) wear that accentuates  curves and causes us to see more movement than there really is.  I really want to experience what you describe too, I’m not a dancer at all, but I might be while I’m dressed!

Hmmm, It seems that it could be infectious as the next effects should be watched for,  Wiggle and a walk then Giggle when you talk,

Yes I would take Ellies advice as this could lead to something worse than Twerking.... Avoid Chantilly Lace as well....

I have enough trouble trying to walk with a hip swivel.

@harriette This is the thing. I don't walk with a swivel. I walk like a man. This wiggle took me by surprise 😉

@dazzler Most women don't walk with a swivel either. 😇
