This just happened and I thought some may get a kick out of it.. So im alone tomorrow and I was shopping on Amazon for some new overnight present for River. as usual I set my filter to Plus size. after shopping for a few hours in the Big Girl section I gave up out of frustration. FF ahead a little and Amazon just popped up a new Suggestion for me.. A mini under desk exercise Bike.. I never get anything but womens clothes on my private amazon account so. Should I be offended ? lol..

@river IDK what to think, except it now never shocks me what products and how their algo's decide to peddle them & when. I am glad to see you've resilience & some humor over it but personally I find these kinds of pushes by them a lil bit intrusive. We all know what we want & how to ask or look for it... @kyrabrooke Thank you. Its ok Ive been struggling with my weight for a long time. sometimes ya just got to laugh it off.. Hmm wonder how many calories laughing burns.

We live in the time of omni-surveillance. I have struggled with slicing the ball off the tee since taking up golf five years ago so went for a lesson at the local driving range. One piece of advice I got was to take my stance then draw back my right foot a couple of inches (some centimetres) and this has made a huge improvement.
I mentioned this to one of the greenskeepers the other day and the next time I looked at Youtube, there must have been half a dozen videos on "drawing the foot back".
Ha Ha, yes, River, my Amazon and eBay suggestions are full of dresses, heels et al.

@river YES!!! You should be offended - that was totally disgraceful!!! Just wtf do they think they are doing- yes, it's all down to an algorithm somewhere in the depths of a computer program, but that is NO excuse! I was never a fan of Jeff Bezos, but that is really, really wrong - I always thought that Mackenzie was the good one in that relationship (perhaps why she got out of it?) but now I'm sure... @river Hi no you should not be offended. Weight loss products are a big market because of peoples desire to lose weight. We are hammered with weight loss medications and products (some fake) all over the place! Amazons AI bot is responsible for that! They are simply trying to sell products! AI bots are the worst idea yet!

@river No to being offended . It is only going to get worse in years to come. Farce book does it relentlessly. When I search Corvette, my next time I go online with Farcebook, I get blasted with anything Corvette. Just ignore the crap.
@jillleanne Agreed AI is here either we fight or just learn to accept it for what it is.I pick fights only when they're is a possibility to win. were not going to win the AI wars so I best learn all I can about it and use it to my advantage. By the way: Today Amazon recommended, in addition to bras, a broom and dustpan set, a rotating electric cleaner, some capsules to support intestinal health, paper plates and a USB wall charger. Ha ha ha.

When I first started cross-dressing last year my wife was on holiday in India. Just before she went I put some items in my Amazon wish list. One of them was a bra and another was some condoms which I was going to fill with water as breast forms. My wife was in the bedroom and the Alexa there decided at that moment to announce that an item in my wish list had gone down in price and then named the contraceptives. My wife heard that and thought crap, what do I do now?! She didn't know I was planning to do some cross dressing while she was away so in a panic, I just denied that there were any condoms in my wish list and that it had made a mistake as she obviously thought I was going to sleep with someone else while she was away. On her return, the situation kept coming up now and again and each time I had to continue with the lie and deny any knowledge.
Fortunately, over the next few weeks, I came out as a curious cross dresser and finally admitted that the condoms in the wish list were in fact mine and that I was sorry I lied but I panicked. By that time, I had been wearing women's clothing around the house and instead of being angry, she said she was happy that I wasn't having an affair. All was well in the end, fortunately.
So beware, if you have an Alexa, don't put surreptitious things in your wish list as you never know when it'll grass on you.
@rebeccabaxter I have google home fortunately it does not do that. but I made the mistake the first time I used Amazon of using my regular email which I forgot my wife got my emails. and when I finally broke down and decided to buy myself some decent CD stuff I ordered a pile of things all at once. well my wife saw them all in the email. this was before I told her a few years ago. When she got home she had this playful look that I did not understand. and asked me what I had planned for the weekend. I realized she thought it was all for her. so I lied and said I returned it all as I decided it was not her style and bought her something more classy.good thing she did not look at the size as they were way to big for her.. then shortly after I had to tell the truth. but ya I understand the dilemma. all worked out for the both of us it would seem .

@rebeccabaxter That is exactly why I don't have Alexa in my house! That is the same as putting microphones in your house! Alexa can hear much better then she can speak! My Dish network is as far as I will go!
