Hello.  I joined here for a different reason.  Originally, I was trying to seek more understanding of my "problem" after my wife found out and wasn't very happy about it.  Somehow, I decided shortly after (for reasons unknown) to embrace the problem.  Two years later or so, I have pretty much reinvented my entire wardrobe so that everything I wear is strictly women's clothes.  By that I mean, all women's jeans & pants, belts, socks, shoes (hard to find in my size tho), t-shirts, dress shirts, sweaters, suit coats, underwear, jackets, sunglasses, swim suits, etc.  It's like I can't go out with a man shirt or shoe or whatever.  How did this happen?  But, I will say, these clothes are much more comfortable then any menswear.... @2girly totally get it! And welcome to CDH.

my wife asked me why if I was so interested in female fabrics and colors, could I not find men’s versions of that?

sure I can - and I’m happy to try it - but there is a greater sense of connectedness when it’s for females.  Strange but true.  💕

@2girly welcome two girly, I’m glad you found us, you’ll love it here.  You mentioned that you were trying to seek more information about your “problem”.  It seems to me that you are quite comfortable wearing women’s clothing, so maybe we can help you with a shopping problem (lol). Welcome again.

@erinb She doesn't want to know. So, carefully & luckily, I managed to find women's clothes that pass despite being sized and descretely labeled women's.  FYI, Wrangler makes the best tall jeans I have found to date.  So, all my men's Levi's are just sitting there along with the rest of the men's clothes from over the years, lol.

Reading through your old posts, you don't seem to be all that different compared to other members here.

You got caught with women's clothes and after being confronted by your wife you embraced crossdressing enough to be able to dress androgynously nearly all of the time now (except when working in your garage).

That could describe many, many of us.

You didn't say yet whether you actually got to consult with a therapist. How did that go?

Regardless, I am glad to see you taking an interest in CDH again and look forward to reading more of your posts.

@2girly Welcome to the pink fog Two Girly.  I have given up finding reasons for having a feminine side.  Everyone I talked to has done so as well.  It's a good thing the wife knows, mine wasn't real thrilled with the idea at first but now she helps with my make up.

I do not see us dressing up and taking on a feminine persona as a problem.  The problem you have is keeping open communication with your wife.

Hi Two Girly,

Welcome to CDH!

Congratulations on embracing the gift! It sounds like you have it worked out.

You are so right, feminine fabrics really are so much more comfortable!

While I still wear dresses, skirts, and feminine tops, a vast majority of what I regularly wear in male mode comes from the women's department. Jeans, shirts, shoes, socks, cardigans and jeans jackets. I may wear tights instead of socks in the wintertime. There can be subtle hints that what I wear is women's (small pockets on jeans, or the hem or neckline is slightly feminine) but most people won't pick up on it.
