I was talking with a girl here, mentioning old girlfriends (GGs, not CDs), and I remembered a conversation I had with a girlfriend in grad school. She was talking about how men have it made, and I said "I think it would be fun to be a girl for a week."
She looked at me strangely, and then she said, sadly and despairingly, "I didn't realize you're gay."
Anybody ever have a talk go like that?
She was a sweet girl, but not particularly bright 🙂
Nope I haven't had that conversation, but it's odd because that is the main reason most of us don't come out of the closet. Because everyone will ask "Are you gay" when say "no" then it's "Then why do you want to dress like a woman"
Hi Debbi It is understandable that there are those who still think that way. Cis woman look at us and question why in the world would you want to dress and act like a woman and expect to attract a woman. It does not make any sense to them. Some of us consider them selves gay woman. Some of us consider them selves woman and are very much attracted to men and want to be loved like most woman. Some of us enjoy being male and but enjoy expressing themselves as female some times ect.ect. Maybe you should of said I would love to be a lesbian for a week. We are certainly a very interesting and fun community that is what makes us so attractive.

I once had a co-worker tell me: "You dress like a girl sometimes." I thanked her and we had a long talk about fashion. We frequently stop by each others cubicle to see how we are dressed. My wife sends me off to work as a girl several times each week.
And yes, it is fun to be a girl all week too!
