Yesterday, I finally found a cute romper that I can fit into at Goodwill. Of course, now it's getting down to or below freezing at night, and definitely too cold to be wearing a romper out. My favorite feminine clothes are short shorts and skirts, which sadly, are now out of season.
I also got a pair of low rise, wide leg, kind of formal black dress slacks. I have no idea what I'm going to wear with them for a top, or where I'm going to wear them, but I got them.
The church thread on the forums got me thinking about starting to integrate little bits of my feminine self into my church attire. The new slacks are quite feminine, and I'd have to wear high heels with them, because the legs are pretty long. So, maybe not those yet, but I am thinking about my womens skinny jeans or maybe black leggings for church this morning.

Other than a few pairs of shorts my SO bought me, I have no clothes yet. I am drawn towards the more summery clothes and short dresses it seems, so I too am missing summer. My problem right now is finding summer dresses. Since I just got permission to dress, while alone, nothing is appealing to me because it's all fall and winter styles. We have gone to goodwill a few times looking for furniture and I have eyed the clothing section from afar. I may have to make a trip by myself to see if I can get lucky.
I too love my summer wardrobe far more than my fall and winter one. I've started moving my seasonal clothes between the back closet and main dressing area already.
Until next spring...💕💕

Ironically, I dug a few long sleeve turtleneck tops out of my closet this morning, so I could wear the burgandy one with my black leggings this morning. And, I ran across a really cute summer top, which I have no memory of buying. Guess it will have to wait for spring too.

I actually started the clothing move to make room lol. My gf and I were out at the thrift stores, I picked up 7 new long sleeve tops for the season and a quality warm jacket all for under $40cdn
Hi Birel,
You win some, you lose some. For someone like me who is still very wary of what I go out in. summer is flip flops (so I won't paint my toenails bright colours), and thin tshirts / tops (so I'm wary of going out with a bra outline). On the other hand, now it's cool enough to wear layers - bras, nice short camis, an extra layer of tights and some of my tunic dresses aren't too hot to wear out over jeans.
I still miss the heat and the light though.

Birel...hi, hope you're well xx.
I have 4 different rompers, I love them dearly...so loose and cool.
...don't worry, the way time flies, it will be summer again very soon!!
Happy Halloween, Merry Christmas and a Happy Easter....and you're there!!!!
Huggs, grace ❤️
Only recently been allowed to dress again courtesy of my SO, the weather has changed and now getting colder by the hour. So the leggings and big jumpers are out, leggings and heels are gorgeous.
Regarding black lady's dress slacks I found they can look so darling in pumps and a frilly blouse with a jacket.
I stopped fully dressing and going out in public when I felt I was getting too old to look good in the type of dresses I like to wear. I would never think about wearing my flimsy sheer dresses in winter anyways.
What I really miss about summer is being able to have my morning coffee out by the pool while still wearing my nightie. Summer nighties are now put away and all my full length gowns are out.
I still enjoy getting fully dressed up but I don't venture out in winter. I will be counting the days until summer is hear again.
