Getting more comfortable going away from the house as Keelee or sort of like Keelee. Just made a trip to the convince store to get a 6 pack wearing skinny jeans, a long fitted top, ballerina flats and a cardigan. Underneath a pair of pink lace panties and pink bra with C size forms. No makeup, no wig and sporting a goatee and freshly shaved head. I have done this before but in heels and a dress. I don’t feel comfortable in a wig and makeup. I just want to wear the clothes and shoes. Does this make me odd or weird?
Being a weirdo is a good thing. It means you think for yourself and value your independence. You would rather be innovative and inspirational rather than a bland and lifeless follower of fads, buzz words and myths. It use to be known as letting your freak flag fly (right, Jimi?).
Perhaps I might not aesthetically approve of the effect but I can still admire the creativity.
Araminta.
A friend of mine dresses that way all the time. Shaved head, no makeup. (Doesn't have a beard, though) She dresses in a skirt, etc. all the time. I admire that.

I more often than not go out dressed without the wig and make-up routine if I'm by myself. When I do go full on, its primarily done to blend in with those with or around me. Going without does tend to draw more awkward, sometimes unwanted attention, but if thats what feels right for you....be you.

That made me literally lol. Scared the dog in the process. Thank you....
I almost shaved off the goatee which I do from time to time but I’m going to the DMV to renew my CDL tomorrow and I want to have it for my new photo. After that I’m thinking about coming home shaving it off then going shopping as Keelee for some new tops.
I don’t drive truck for a living. Just on the side. I’m an architectural draftsman 45 hours a week. One day I want to be a draftswoman.

I never have been one to follow the crowd. Even when it appeared that I was I was different. Not standing out but mostly known for not being or doing things not exactly like the crowd. If that makes sense.
"Odd" and "weird" have negative connotations, Keelee. You're different, just as all of us here are. Keep being yourself.
You might look odd or a werdo to others .Do they realise how much courage it takes to dress as a woman in public . I have been out as Rhonda quite a few times . I still manage to chicken out and not go out some times .
Rhonda .
I think you should do what makes you happy Keelee . You Go Girl.
If you are weird Keelee, then so am I. I wear heels every day. When I go out I will be wearing heels, slacks, a tee-top and a jacket. I don't always wear a bra but then again I only wear an AA. No-one takes a blind but of notice any more. I have a goatee at the moment so I tend not to go full femme. My advice? Be weird. Be proud of weird. Because of you are not weird then you are ordinary. I know which I would rather be 😀
You’re definitely not weird! We all have our goals and this maybe right and comfortable for you I myself like to take it further but that is just Sandy sometimes I’m a little risqué other times more classy and demure. Go for what you like! Hugs Sandy.
Keelee,
There is nothing weird about it. As Tiffany Alexis said, I present as a man regardless of what I may be wearing. My hair is military short and I sport a goatee. Both of which are preferred by my wife.
My motivation is two fold. I don't like hiding who I am, and the few times in which I tried a wig, I felt like I was hiding. Most importantly, I do not feel that I am a woman, nor do I want to be a woman. I am a man who prefers womenswear, in general, over menswear.

Hi Keelee,
I love weirdos! Welcome to the gang!
I go out is all sorts of mis-matched outfits too.
Hon,
It's your life to live so do what makes you feel good!!! I look like a feminine guy, (No facial or body hair), who has a very outgoing personality, and I always talk with people wherever I go and I know some people question my gender. But More and more lately I am getting an even more positive response from the public, most likely it is my high confidence level that gives me creedance and makes people more comfortable around me. So go have fun and be confident with yourself.
