I’m trying to think up ways to bring up Cross-dressing causally in a conversation, as I’m trying to gauge if it’s a good idea to tell a few fiends that are close to me, how does one bring up Cross-dressing without making it sound random or strange why I brought up that topic? I thought this could be a good post for anybody that needs an idea to bring up thier crossdressing or at least talk about it  with someone about seeing if they agree or don’t agree with cding. Thank you for any ideas! 😀

I had recently used the cancellation of the Toronto Pride parade to judge some reactions.  Just simply mentioning such a large event being nixed.  Then I also told of a couple of co- workers who were disappointed with it. ( all true ).   You can guage by some responses, peoples opinions, and it was a big cancellation in all the news, so it wasn't an obvious comment.  ( I also mentioned other canceled events ).

Might as well use this pandemic shutdown to advantage....

One of my friends knows that I paint my nails. I don't see it being unusual. To me its just like putting wax in hair to style or wearing jewellery.

Another way is to admit to someone close that panties are so much more comfortable than other underwear. It can be scary telling someone though. I find the more I go into shops and buy skirts, tights, lingerie etc the less I care if the attendant thinks it's for me or not. Even walking around the lingerie sections in shops I'd hope that people thought I was shopping for someone else but now I don't really care (I'm addicted to polka dots 🤷🏻‍♀️)

How about ... ‘’...did you see that programme on the telly ... ‘’ sort of thing .. that often works well in most situations - but dont forget you cant ‘un-say’ things once you’ve said them !

HI Natalie ,

Hmmm thats a good question.

I honestly don't know how I could bring that up in conversation with my friends and family without it being an awkward conversation.

Unfortunately that doesn't say much for me I guess, most of my family and friends wouldn't accept it I believe.

I guess if you have had an obvious feminine side all your life it may be easier, but when you go from a total masculine life style to wanting to be a woman in a short period of time late in life its like shifting gears without using the clutch.

I guess that doesn't say much for me ,I should be the change, just not ready to destroy my life yet I guess.

Sometimes I wish I was more bold about this subject as it is so important to me.

I am making some headway but it is baby steps.

Patty

YOU COULD ALWAYS TRY DOING THE SAME AS YOU WILL FWEEEL MORE IN CONTROL OF THE SITUATION.

Hi Natalie Nice to meet you and depending on time of year you could use the oldest Halloween  card in the world and say your going to try a girly out for Halloween this year if girl friends ask for there help some clothing they could go shopping at local thrift store with you guys and girls then help with makeup closer to Halloween you may have to bring out your wig and say you ordered it ahead of time to make sure it was here the guy friends like could tag along to thrift store and include them in conversation about what they think about dress or skirt and top there is a big start and good luck hope this helps and again nice to meet you .

Put on a show or movie that has Cross Dressing in it. That is the way talking about it came up for me. My wife and I were watch a show that had a character that was Trans. She started a conversation. we started talking about it and she slipped in something about me and wearing panties before I knew it I had slipped up and she had me. She wasn't mad, she said she had known since we were dating. I asked her why she never mentioned it . She said she knew it would come out when it was time. Try it it worked for my wife.

IM findinm the t-girl presence popping up everywhere..TV, movies, books and magazines..All good places to start a conversation..the mechanics and techs at the dealership that I work with are always oogleing at the girls that bring in their cars for service...Occassionally, if I am within earshot of a comment I say something like...your sure thats a girl, can't tell these days..So far I have them fooled..I think...at least no one has said anything and lately Ive been asked out a few times...
