I recently decided to go through all of my girly things and made a chilling discovery. I was suffering from TMS (too much stuff). When I stood back and did an inventory of wigs, breast forms, make up, beauty products, clothes, panties, bras, shoes, lingerie...AHHHHHHH! I did an informal audit and when my estimated financial investment in all this stuff added up...AHHHHHHH! I thought my outdoors equipment was excessive, but my girly stuff far exceeds the cost of that stuff. Doctor, I think I have a problem. When you live this way 24/7/365, it's gonna cost you if you are not careful. Ok, rant over.

Hi Danielle,
Well there nothing cheap about being a Girl that for sure. OK I agree some times we are a little extravagant in our spending, and often we buy far more than we will actually wear regularly.
I but I say this if we cannot enjoy it now, it's definitely too late when we are dead. If it give you pleasure then it's money we'll spent.

I hear ya, I know the cost of my items. Just a little over what I thought it was going to be.

Do I regret it? Yes and No. Yes, cause that's money I could've used for other things, No cause it's allowing me to be the woman I feel is inside of me.

I too have a TON of skirts, dresses, etc. The hardest thing now is the decision of what to wear, I'll pick at least 3 outfits, then still have a problem deciding 😅 my wife just laughs at me, you are so girly

Saying you've got TMS is like saying you're having TMF (too much fun). Ain't no such thing!, I heard it in a song.

I hear ya about the cost, but am more than willing to pay the price.

You are not the only one suffering from tms.

I'm still in denial about the amount of $$$ I've spent on Wendy so far, and I am scared to find out.

My collection of one piece swimsuits alone is probably in the thousands of dollars.  I shudder at the thought of adding up the wardrobe, makeup, wigs, silicone hip/butt pads, and all the miscellaneous stuff for Wendy.

Hi Danielle!

I suffer from TLS..... to little stuff. Being closeted and not having the opportunity to dress often has kept me from accumulating a lot. I have to agree with Olivia on this one though.... can't have too much stuff or too much fun. Just make sure you can afford a roof over your head, the rest is gravy.

Hugs,

Autumn

Hello everybody!  My name is Paula, and I too struggle with TMS.  Technically,  it has been 8 days since my last purchase, but it was with Amazon on plastic and my enabler (Postal person) brought it to me this morning.

'It' is an Ozora, leather, handbag with shoulder strap for crossbody wear.  Now, I can resist almost anything, except temptation, so I have a matching pair of soft suede high calf boots from the same order that won't be here until Monday.

Will this sate my needs?  Only in the short term I feel.  Then I will back-slide into the yearning for more.  Will I be able to stand fast in the face of 'New Fall Fashion', or will I succumb to 'the need (mostly want)?

As Oscar Wilde once said, "The only way be rid of a temptation is to yield to it."

Wendy, thousands of dollars in swimsuits, now I am jealous.
I wish I could have thousands of dollars invested in swimsuits...and the companies that make them LOL.

Pantyhose and heels are my vices choice, well in excess of $16,000 in pantyhose and several thousand $$$ in heels which stand at 121 pairs.

The great thing about is that I am still adding to both collections.

Perhaps I should scale back a little and concentrate on skirts, dresses and blouses all of which I do not have enough.

Yup, I'm at the point where I need a second closet and dresser.

I work contract away from home 4 weeks at a time so shopping online tends to occupy a certain amount of down time while away. It's a dangerous thing, that interweb and a credit card.

I've also noticed that since joining CDH I've expanded my horizons in numerous ways, one of them being different types of clothing to wear. Definitely more outer wear (blouses, shoes, earrings, less skanky skirts (don't get me wrong, still love dressing skanky) coats etc...). So really, it's all of you lovely ladies to blame for my shopping sprees!! Just kidding, the closet was getting filled before I found CDH.

If someone had told me two years ago I would be buying $150 women's shoes I'd have called the folks at the loony bin to come and collect them.

I ask myself as the total in whatever shopping cart escalates "do I really need more of this stuff?" The answer is usually "who cares, I want it"

Everything in moderation, including moderation.

Hugs and boatloads of panties, Christine.

You think you have A problem, I have six classic cars and A ton of fishing tackle and racks of shotguns and rifles. And when it comes to my girly clothes I probably have more than most stores. My wife just bought A new sweater dress for me, do I need it, no way but I wont tell her that. I just gave her A big kiss and told her I loved it, and I do. It's good we have A big house and lots of closet space.

Hi Danielle,

OMG, I can absolutely identify with TMS. I was looking at my wardrobe the other day and almost felt overwhelmed, but then a funny thing happened, I was like, I don’t have enough in the handbag and jeans area! Oh no, I need to go shopping 😂😂. When does it end!! I guess never right! Unlike man drab, women’s clothes are always challenged with new trends, fabrics, colors, and the upcoming season fashion release. Thank god I live in LA or I would spend a small fortune in winter clothes. My shoe collection is crazy,  had to put in a floor to ceiling shelving system to have a place to keep them, not including the one still in the box. Maybe I need to purge older styles to make for new ones, vicious cycle 🥴

I agree though, can’t take it with you so live it up now…
