I live in a very rurual area, house is set back off the road so I took the courage today from recently joining this group and decided to mow the lawn and do some outside work en femme. It is too hot for a wig and makeup so I just dressed. Put on a zyia sports bra, a pair of panties and femme gym shorts. I could have done it all day! Is it weird that I like the thought of actually having to wash my femme clothes because I got them all dirty and sweaty? I don't think so. I would love to have a bikini tan but I can not get there yet.
@staciebobacie I live in a city now but still go into my backyard in l
panties, bra and shorts. As far as hot and sweaty goes, that means laundry and that means clean undies.
@staciebobacie Sounds like it was a very freeing experience for you! I'm a hiker and have adopted female clothes when out on the trails even when not presenting fully female. I basically wear what you did with a tank top over my bra. When the weather is warm, the tank often comes off. I've been doing this for a few years and haven't run into any issues at all.
@staciebobacie I am also in a very rural area although our garden backs onto the local playing field. At one time I wouldn't go anywhere near the conservatory or garden while dressed but these days I can't be bothered with hiding. One day Sasha said to me "why the hell shouldn't you wear what you want in your own house"? & I couldn't argue with that. If anyone sees me then so be it. I don't think I would look good in a bikini though so they won't have to see that! 🤣

I wear women’s clothing at work all the time. What I wear is hard to detect from men’s but I know the difference. I too enjoy washing my girly stuff especially folding panties. It probably another thing girls hate to do but gurls love.

I will do house work en femme once in a while, and cooking is even more fun! Just be careful with wigs if you’re using the oven. It’s a good idea to take them off before hand. I’ve wanted to put on one of my tank bras under my T-shirt while I do yard work, but it would be too noticeable. I guess I’ll just have to stick with wearing my panties.

I've worked from hone this afternoon, in a mini-skirt and vest, have even wandered into the garden which is very rare in Anna mode - my neighbours were out so felt safe to do so. We are in a rural area, but our house is in the middle of a terrace.
@annaredhead I work from home all the time. I've been in my mini skirt and a short cami top for the last 3 days, and probably will be tomorrow too. My neighbours all know so I go out and sit in the sun to have my lunch and afternoon cups of tea. My tan has come on nicely, I have good strap lines now! Only tanned on the front though, since I don't have a sun-lounger. But the front's all I can see in the mirror, so I'm happy! 🙂
@finallyfiona I'm envious. I'm back in the office all day and it gets pretty hot in there.
Next investment for you sounds like a sun lounger?
@annaredhead Definitely not for public consumption just yet! But ground-level in the garden isn't overlooked and I can enjoy the white bits and the lines 🙂

It's been very hot and humid where I live, I needed to cut the lawn last week and complained to my wife that my t-shirts are too hot in the heat. At first she suggested cutting the sleeves off but then offered me one of her tank tops to wear. It is a solid brown with 3 buttons on the collar. I wore that with a pair of shorts and panties. It felt wonderful to be out like that and no one knew the difference - I did talk to one of the neighbors while out and there didn't seem to be any recognition of what I was wearing. I guess you could call it an androgynous look.

I can understand the emotions of the experience. One of my first ventures outside was to mow my lawn. I drove my lawn tractor around my year wearing a pair tankini swimsuit with a pair of athletic shorts and sneakers. My only concern was how self conscious I was because of my back hair. (I would only begin waxing my back a few years later.) Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience.

I love being out in the backyard in a dress, skiet or bikini. The neighbors have caught a glimse or two but, so what. I enjoy hiking en femme as well and never had an issue either fully en femme, or just in a skirt but otherswise drab.
