While checking my emails this morning @7.15am. I discover 4 emails between 1.20am and 1.30am EST from CDheaven requesting password changes.

I'm wondering if there has been a glitch? Or is someone playing funny buggers and trying to hack my account.

Has anybody else had the same issues? (I was pushing zzzzzzs at that time in the morning.)

Not aware of this happening to anyone else Peta.  Didn't see any staff notifications either.  Looks like someone is trying to hack your account.  If it continues, contact an ambassador for assistance.

Thanks. I will monitor the situation. It was a bit bizarre.

The staff of the site will NEVER request your password, and I see no reason that we would ever request you to change it...

it sounds like someone is trying to get you to open "their link" (nothing from this site says CDHeaven, always the words are spelt out, though we call and refer to it that way).

if Emily can't help you, I HIGHLY suggest contacting Vanessa, the site owner, IT person, etc...

her link is at the bottom of every page.

no, not there, the VERY bottom.

Definitely looks like a phishing attempt.

Quick tip - just looking at GMail web client or Thunderbird (both on a computer - not mobile), hover your cursor over the link and look at the bottom of the screen - it will tell you the full URL where it would take you. But still be careful - 0 and O and o are all pretty close and so are some Cyrillic letters to traditional English letters....
