Wow, it's been a long a frustrating lockdown (everyone at home since before Xmas here in the UK) - absolutely zero chance of any Susan time.
... But this morning, I offered to make my SO (who doesn't know) breakfast in bed. It was freezing and when I realised my dressing gown was in the wash I quickly withdrew my offer. She pleaded with me and said "just wear mine". At this point I was only really thinking about keeping warm, and the grey dressing gown looked very non descript just hanging on the ensuite door, so I grabbed it and headed downstairs to to kitchen.
But Wow! It was soft and light against my skin, it had an undeniably female cut. The sleeves ended half way down my forearms with a lacey cuff, the same detail finished off the lower seam. The belt and neck lining were soft smooth and silky!
... It was only a dressing gown, not an item of clothing I would usually crave to wear, but it's been a long and frustrating lockdown and wow it made me feel so happy inside!
My SO had no idea of how it made me feel, but I do know that I'd gladly make her breakfast in bed whenever she wants, just as long she would let me wear her dressing gown!
Not long now until Susan can be herself again!

As a four year old my mother dressed me in a lovely dress. She added shoes, fur stole and makeup. I was going to a fancy dress competition as 'Lady muck'. I won it!
The one item that I loved was the dress. It was my sisters. From that day on I wanted to wear dresses. The rest, they say, is history....
Hi Susan,
It's amazing how one piece of clothing or a lady item can make you feel so warm and wonderful. Thank you for sharing your wonderful story. Hugs Katey
Lucky you Susan, it's been a very long lock down and I've not been able to have some Roz time either, i usually get to have a whole week at the beginning of September for Roz time but not last year I'm hoping that things will get back to normal by September this year,
I do get the odd day here and there throughout the year sometimes the odd weekend x
Hugs Rozalyne x
Well then Susan you know what you have to do, discover that the washing machine has malfunctioned and completely destroyed your dressing gown, as you can't get out due to covid you will regrettably have to share your wifes - sad but what is one to do?
Devious Diana.
Hi Susan,
You’ll just have to shop for another dressing gown in your size.
