Hi gals, on Monday night (the 7th) my uncle died. It wasn't unexpected as he'd been ill for a long time. Most of the week I've been helping my family where I can. My main job during tbe week has been making sure my 19yo cousin is ok.
He knew and was fully supported me being Trans. I knew before hand that I wanted to go to his funeral as Trisha. His widow and my cousin are also insisting that I do so. So I definitely am. Im also going to be a paul bearer at it.
I have told the remainder of my family about my transness. They are a little shocked but supportive.
I know what im going to wear. https://www.crossdresserheaven.com/photo/long-dress-4/ . This dress with a black belero. His funeral is on the 28th. I hope I can control my negative thoughts until that point and not blow up too oftet at work.
Love Trish

Oh sweetie, my condolences. Losing a loved one is so hard. The dress is perfect my dear and you look perfect in it. You are a remarkably courageous young woman. I know everyone in this group will be sending warm wishes and love your way on that day.

Trisha,
So sorry for your loss, my condolences to you and your family… your dress is very appropriate and I am sure, as your uncle is looking down on you, he would be very pleased.
Regards, Leonara
Sorry, Trisha, to hear the loss of you uncle. I can understand your desire to dress as Trisha at the funeral. Back in March I lost my mother and I did want to dress in a black dress and tights. One of the things that stopped me that while my 4 brothers know of my desires to CD, I thought they might not be positive about seeing Cassie at the funeral. Also 2 of my aunt and 3 cousins were there and they don't know me as Cassie. I hope all goes well for you and the farewell to you uncle.

Hi Trisha,
My condolences on your loss.

I know you and I know you'll stay strong for your family! Even though your Uncle was ill and his passing wasn't unexpected, that doesn't make it easier. What I hope makes it easier is that his suffering has ended. I hope that brings peace to your thoughts and to your family.
I am and we are all here for you. Just reach out if you need it.

My sincerest sympathy Trish. It is a very nice honor that you have been asked to be a pall bearer at the funeral. Speaks to the importance you had in your uncle’s life.
It is really wonderful that you have so much support from so many different family members. Yet another honor. Something you can take strength from.
And the dress? Perfect. No question.
Thank you for sharing with your sisters here, what is surely a very personal and difficult time. We are all sending good thoughts your way.
To you Trish, my very best,
Clara
So sorry to hear that Trish. In my experience a loved one's passing being expected doesn't make it much easier. Someone close to you being gone is not something you can ever be truly ready for. Sounds like you're being as strong as anyone could right now.
Hi Trisha,
You have my heart felt sympathies for the loss of your uncle.
I think the dress you have chosen is perfect. You are very pretty in that picture.
Hugs
