Today, my wife and I went to Exeter, to the cathedral, to have a look at a 7 metre sculpture of the moon. This piece is being moved all over the world from Toronto Canada, to New Plymouth New Zealand, plus many more. It even has its own website: search for my-moon.org. It's been doing the rounds since 2016.
On the dressing side, today has probably been my most successful day blending in. I did not get a single second look that indicated I might have been clocked and while I was sitting down in a Marks and Spencer café, my wife looked at me from where she was getting the coffee and subsequently said that, certainly at that short distance, she would never have thought I wasn't a woman.
Now she may have been being nice but she's not known for holding back when it comes to my dress style and will always tell me when something doesn't go with something else. Mind you, I don't need her advice much anymore.
One of the pictures is here: https://www.crossdresserheaven.com/photo/the-moon-at-exeter-cathedral/
I love going out dressed so much, it is such good fun.
Cheers
A Happy Becca
Looking at the picture of you in the cathedral who would guess? You are confident and natural so why would anyone think otherwise.
Our concern about looking natural and right and passing undetected is understandable of course, but has anyone ever noticed just how many ladies are walking round with somewhat masculine features, so actually don't themselves appear to be so natural or right? I happened to notice this on one female individual some months ago and since then have kept an eye open for this phenomenon. It is surprisingly common. In many cases I would have found it quite easy to convince myself that the lady I was looking at or talking to was actually a man in a dress, -in the very worst sort of amateur way that we here try so hard to avoid. I know they can't help it but these girls can sometimes look less convincingly female than many of our members who we see on photographs sent in to CDH. I'm sure that having such masculine features must sometimes be dismaying to the ladies who carry them and they do have my sympathy, but it's interesting to make comparisms between the high quality we can achieve and what the female world has walking round as its representatives. If you are bothered about passing undetected then I would suggest having a look at what does sometimes pass as female in this world. I reckon that would go a long way towards making us feel more confident.
The more confident you become, the more natural you act. I have always believed that being confident is the number one factor as to whether someone will be accepted as a female by the general public. Of course clothing, mannerisms and make-up are important but if you exude confidence in who you are, people will pick up on that confidence and they will, in turn, be more confident in welcoming you as a trans person.
And you're right, being out dressed as a woman is indeed fun as well as a very interesting experience.
Becca -
You look beautiful in your picture. What a lovely day out for you. I'm sure when your wife made that comment you were ecstatic to hear her say that. I can only dream that something like that would happen for me, I do hold onto hope though.
XOXO

Lovely womanly photo of you Becs 💚
Did you get to see the Knife Angel when it did its tour around the country? Amazing to see it up close.
As Ray Davies of The Kinks says, "Its amazing what you do with the right attitude".
You got it girl.
It's a great photo Becca, you look so comfortable and confident.
