Recently I was almost brought to tears by the answer that the SO Gave to her CD boyfriend when he revealed herself. It\'s just clothes, she said, I guess i\'m just getting old and to sensitive but it struck a nerve. Unfortunately for all of us that is how we are veiwed by the autside world. IT is how the clothes make us feel inside and how they make us view ourselves as human beings and why we are called Crossessdressers. DUH. Tell me how you all feel about this. Peggy Ann

It is just clothes. We wear different clothes to make ourselves feel better or express a part of ourselves to the outside world. In our case we prefer so called women's clothes. We love how they look, how they feel and how they make us look and feel.

I would rather wear pantyhose, heels and a short dress than anything else. Might as well add a bra with breastforms, wig and makeup and go all out..

that's true its just cloths, but woman call it dresses, skirts, slacks, blouse. we call it pants and shirt. whats the difference? i prefer to wear panties, bra, nylons, dress make up and perfume, ear rings, heels. i feel more human and relaxed. i hate the boring so called male cloths. its what they call wearing the opposite clothing we were born as. dah that's why i prefer to wear what they call female cloths.            that;s my opinion

from what I see a real woman dresses to how she wants to feel at that time. When it becomes a full dress they dress for themselves. As for us cds  when we dress, it's to dress for the clothes yes but a great  feeling in the wearing is equally important and when we truly dress total in full wig to heels , the feel becomes we dress for the soul in one's heart ,the most important person who should care and that is  yourself. If it feels good it must be . 🌹

don't get up set about it. sorry if i meant wrong, but that was my opinion, u r right tho cloths are not cloths, its style and color, its what makes woman look pretty, but can make men look as pretty as woman can. woman wear manly cloths this day and age what is it to them when they wear manly cloths? style color. i don't think so. its just easy for them to put on and go out.  for us we like to dress up all pretty and be woman like

I'll tell you Peggy Ann. Thanks for asking. I love to dress as a woman. I do it to feel good and express my feminity. Sometimes the clothes that I use are simple and I usually be somewhat clumsy with makeup. Sometimes I dress myself like a princess and I feel wonderful, although I don't show me in public. It is better not to reflect on what others may think because one can suffer. I love women's clothes. It`s nothing I can change. In fact, I don't want to change it. I'm becoming more confident. I believe in myself.

This is something I've thought for a while. The clothes themselves are just woven threads stitched together, in themselves innocuous. The problem emerges from people's reaction to those clothes, specifically as markers or symbols of gender. Most people are blase, some are even enthusiastic, but others are judgmental. Even most of us here are aware that there are many situations, such as formal meetings or work, when it would feel inappropriate. Some careers are more forgiving than others. But my feeling is that public mores are moving in our favour.

I like your point of view, Bryony. The inner woman is the one that really matters. Each one of us find her own way. I have to be myself and enjoy it. If I feel good everything is better.
