Hello. Kinda new here. But, as a family man and after many years of closet CDing, I decided to try dressing as a regular guy, but with womens clothes. For example, wearing a womens panty, womens tank top, womens tall pants, womens belt, womens socks, womens dress or boats style shoes and womens top (like sweater and sweatshirt than is passable). I am not sure what I am accomplishing here, but once you find the right fit, it sure is nice sporting the clothing. The hardest thing is I mostly wear polo shirts, but the womens style polo's have more buttons and they are on the opposite side of the mens, I found out, ugh. Any of ya'll tried the same?
What ever makes you happy is what it's about. Welcome.
Hugs, Liara
Well if you decide to try more feminine styles be ready for buttons, snaps or zippers on the back of some dresses. And of course, the contortions sometimes required to put on a bra.
I gave up worrying about if the buttons are on one side or the other. I have some blouses that are just really nice and I wear them and only a couple people have noticed the buttons. The reason as I understand of why goes back to the days when buttons were expensive and rich people that could afford them had servants to dress the women. So to make it easier for someone facing a person to button them up they put them on garments that way.
Just about all my clothing are female clothing. Jeans, shorts, tops, shoes and panties are a daily staple for me to wear. I have found that they fit better and look better on me than the normal larger cut that is traditionally mens clothing. Shoes are a little harder given I have a size 12. Torrid makes shoes that fit me well and I enjoy wearing their sandals, flats and boots. Also SeeVees makes nice sneakers that are colorful and stylish and goes well with my girl clothes. Long ago I thought that I had to have 2 separate gender clothing but those lines are so blurred now that except for a couple of suits and what goes with them are just about all I have left of my guy mode stuff. You will find a lot of really wonderful women's clothing that will blend in to any guy mode you want to portray, so bottom line enjoy your discovery of what makes you happy.

I find the womens casual clothing feels better and you dont stand out from the crowd at all. The question come at the ladies room. I have a full face of makeup, my own hair, heels, jeans sweater, bra with forms, purse, and most of the sales people still call me sir, so what bathroom do you use.

I have been trying to do the same lately. Takes an exhausting amount of time occasionally to find the right sizes.
I have found Amazon to be the most frustrating with clothing sizes. My go to on-line places that I have found to be solid from item to item on size is: Torrid, their jeans, tops, shoes and dresses are spot on with consistency. Draper James is also one that has a size guide that works and the reviews will have how they fit by people that have bought the clothes. Venus is another that has consistent sizing. Long Tall Sally has really nice clothing that is good with their sizes and fit. Brick and mortar stores you can try on, Macy's, Kohls, Old Navy and Target has nice clothes that fit. Plus it's such fun to dress up and go out shopping.

For the most part for me when I dress I like to go all the way. I want to feel and look as feminine as possible. I start with sexy lingerie including bra and breast forms. I then like to put on a pretty dress. I love dresses with flowing skirts and I get pleasure from spinning and twirling in them. It's all about total femininity for me.
I do own feminine clothing that is much more conservative like slacks and nice blouses that could pass as a man's shirt if you don't look too close. I have a number of pairs of women's flats and some with just very short heels. All of this apparel I enjoy wearing when I go shopping and don't want to try to pass as a woman. These clothes don't really stand out unless someone wants to check me out very closely. I enjoy wearing my short heels so I can hear the clicking of my heels when I walk. If I'm in a store and someone walks close by me I just slow down or stop walking so they don't look down at my shoes.
I think what you're speaking of is dressing androgynously which is blending both genders clothing without appearing too much like one side or the other.
Yes I’ve tried and done this many times now. I always have panties and a bra on, pantyhose and camisole in the cooler weather and love being out in my woman’s jeans and sweaters with cute killer ankle boots. I even go as far as wearing makeup and perfume but still basically presenting as a man.
thanks
Ashley.
At times I dont feel like doing makeup I still step out in women's clothing. All my pants (including capris and three quarter jeans ) and shirts ( mostly blouses ) and sweaters are for women. It may be an androgynous look but put together as unisex. Rarely have I had a hassle and enjoy the look. Fabrics are better feeling and love the shape it gives me.
This is truth! I am not a small frame person. 6.2 tall. So, finding tall sized womens clothes can be tricky for sure! Mostly, online shopping for me since Sears and JCPenney closed their stores. Trying to keep tabs on your measurements and hoping that the size charts are somewhat representative of what you are trying to buy is key.
The ladies room.
Yes, I’m currently changing out much of my current daily wear to women’s versions to blend into a “just this side of feminine” androgynous style. I started with all my underwear and added a bra which I wear occasionally. All my exercise wear from top to shoes is now female including black leggings which I really enjoy wearing out in the cooler weather. If it’s sunny out I usually add a nice wide brimmed hiker hat and big sunglasses. Right now I’m putting together my normal daytime outfits which will include ladies jeans matched to muted pastel v-neck tees and other androgynous tops and knee high stockings with casual flats or sneakers. Have all of this already in hand but the jeans, waiting for my wife to come shopping with me for those. I haven’t attracted too much attention wearing my fem exercise gear so far and my wife thinks the same will be true for my upcoming daily wear as well, we’ll see very soon. I can’t wait!

Thanks for the other sources! Of course, I am not supposed to be adding to the collection, but here we go!
