Just made Torrid Insider VIP status

Over the past year I have purchased some fabulous outfits and gotten some great (and occasional not so great) service at Torrid. Last month I crossed the threshold to Torrid VIP status in their loyalty program, which upped the rewards I get and comes with some other perks.

Notable good experience: last spring I was traveling and went into a local Torrid in DRAB. Told the SA I was looking for a pretty dress for a Pride-themed garden party and wanted something that would be dressy and really “pop”. We went all around the store and nothing was doing it, then she went in back and came out with the bright coral lace bodice sleeveless dress with a poof skirt with a crinoline underneath in my size 2. And it was on sale. Sold! She then helped me find a strapless bra - I told her I typically wore a 46B but find the cups in their strapless bras to run large - she found a 44B and suggested a band extender. Wonderful service.

This spring I was in the same Torrid, in DRAB again, shopping just for cute outfits. Nothing as over the top as last year. There was a particular skirt I was looking for and couldn’t find, and the SA helped my find it. She then suggested a top with it that I was skeptical about, but it may be one of my favorite tops ever. With a Torrid boost bra on under it my boobs look like I’ve always wanted them to. Also bought a super cute bold stripe halter neck sundress and a new boost bra.

As the SA was ringing me up, she asked if I had shopped in that store before. I said yes, but it had been a long time. She said “garden party - how did it go?”. I was amazed that she remembered me. I told her I had given her very good feedback on the survey and asked if that made it back to her and she said it did. I gave her great feedback on the survey this year, too.
