All,
Registration for Keystone 2024 opens on 1/15, as does reservations for the Harrisburg Hilton. The hotel will fill up fast so be sure to register promptly.
If you haven't registered on the website keystone-conference.org please do so, as that will allow you to see what's happening and keep up to date on status emails.
We are planning on having another CDH meetup, this time in a bigger room. For those that may attend, should I arrange for light snacks or a cash bar? Please let me know your thoughts.
Looking forward to seeing a lot of you in March in Harrisburg!
Leah
I know this sounds like a ridiculous question two weeks before, but does anyone know what the cancellation policy is, both at the conference and the hotel?
I have a medical procedure being done a few days before, and I won't find out about results (and possibly treatment) until just before registration. But other related issues might require treatment that could interfere with Keystone. If something comes up after I'm registered, I don't want to lose out on a lot of money if I find out later I am unable to go because of medical needs.
Alison,
Feb 28 is the hotel cancellation deadline. If you cancel after that you are liable for one night's rental.
As for the conference fee, that would be up to the Keystone organizers. I think if you explain your situation they may refund your registration. You may not get your Gala Dinner fee back, as they have to contract for the required number of meals.
I do hope it all goes well for you!

Count me in Leah, I'll be there.
I've reached out via email to find out the conference's cancellation policy, but have not had a reply in several days.
I think my plan is to book the hotel right away, as I know I can cancel it if need be, and it will fill up quickly. I don't think the conference will sell out as fast, so I can wait to register for the conference until I know their policy.
Hello All,
I am so excited to get back there and see you ladies. My registration will be in promptly. Allison I hope everything goes smoothly for you. Getting gitty just thinking about it.
As far as the snacks vs. bar thing. I guess it depends on the time. If I remember right, last year was two ish. At that time on a Friday seems like both are appropriate. Also, what do you mean by light snacks?
All,
I will be hosting the Bingo games on Friday Evening at 7 PM and am looking for one or two helpers to help with selling bingo cards and with verifying wins after each round. Each card is $1.
If you are interested, PM me and we can chat further about it!

Hi Leah, I will be at Keystone and doing a presentation on what it's like to be an intersex person. I will be glad to help you out. Also, is there a pool party this year? TTYL. Marg
Hi Leah, why not have both ?
All,
Conference Registration and Hotel reservations are now open! Act fast as the hotel is filling up quickly!
I had a bit of trouble with my Conference registration; I selected workshops only but it grayed out the Friday workshops! So I picked ala carte and selected things individually. Be sure to register for the Gala Dinner saturday night as well!
I'm all set! See you folks in 8 weeks!
Leah
All signed up and I am ready to go. I am so excited 😊 🤗 I can hardly wait for 8 more weeks.....
See you all soon.
Okay, the registration process is ongoing, and the hotel registration is still open. They are having a bit of an issue with how the available rooms display; it has to do with start and stop dates so if you don't see rooms available try varying your start and stop dates. For questions email info@keystone-conference.org and ask.
Be advised! The hotel charges $15 per day for parking and the garage does NOT handle tall vehicles. Also, if you've never been here before, finding the garage entrance is tricky! You need to go up Market street just past the hotel, and turn left onto Court street (it looks like an alley). You will go under the hotel, and just as you come out onto Walnut street there will be an up ramp on the left to enter the garage. Once in the garage you will need to find the elevator and take it down to the hotel level (clearly marked in the elevator). Once there, there are steps up, or if you have a luggage cart, go to the left for an up ramp. Turn right at the top to go to the hotel.
It's all a bit confusing. PM me and I can give better directions, or ask any of us girls who were there last year.
See you all in less than 8 weeks!
Leah
