I was just thinking and looking back at my life and journey to start getting into my cross dressing and what I’m meant to me to want to be feminine and the things that would be considered female, I’ve always seemed to be drawn to things that are considered more feminine weather it be movies, music, tv, books or whatever and that being this ways is more than just the clothes and makeup, I know I’ve always enjoyed a good chick flick, I was just wondering if other girls on here feel the Sam and can remember starting out and had hose same thoughts and being considered a cross dresser meant something more , just curious.          Loves, Heather

Hi Heather!

it is very likely that a majority of the members here will have experienced similar feelings as to what you describe. I know that I did too. Always more interested on many things considered to be feminine in our culture.

However, it is interesting that there are also many men who even though may have shared similar interests, have never even considered wearing a single item of women’s clothes.

What is “the secret sauce” which lead us not only to have the interest but to actually engage in emulating what females do? True too is that there are crossdressing men who enjoy the sensations of wearing the clothes but they don’t ever consider themselves to be pretending to be or even look like women.

So, it comes down to the individual motivations, IMHO.

Love

Hi Heather

I love watching and playing  and talking about sports, beer, war films, sci fi, DIY etc etc. I am also not afraid to sing along to Frozen ‘ 🎼Let it go , let it go , can’t hold it back anymore ‘ , cried at the end of the film,Bohemian Rhapsody, love a chick flick, and am not afraid to talk to the girls at work about fashion.

I am happily heterosexual. My personal feeling is that most men stifle the softer feminine side of their personality for fear of being seen as a bit ‘gay’ a bit weird, got to be seen to be the strong, dominant alpha male. I don’t give a @#%t what others think of me now. If others have a problem with it, it is their problem, not mine, I am being who I want to be, not what the conservative sections of  society expects me to be. I am doing nobody any harm.

Love

hi heather. I think most of us look back to try to gain some answers to try to gain an insight as to 'why we are' 'what we are' etc. for me, I think I have been femme since I first started realising the world around me, but didn't really understand what was going on. I firstly was drawn to womens clothes then as things progressed, to all things women like and do. I cant really understand why but it just seems more natural to me and I dont have to try too hard. I find it far harder being male than female. I use female deodrants rather than male ones, I am not keen on male aftershave but love the smell of female perfumes.

Hi Heather. Yes it is more than the dressing. I've read stories that literally bring   me to tears.  W. Bruse Cameron's  A Dog's Purpose always brings tears. I haven't been able to finish it.  Just rembering what I read brings me to tears. Other stories bring out the girl in me  as well as picture and paintings of people and their animals.. when I am dessed, I feel free to express my emotions as a girl. Felt
