Sometimes it's all to easy to forget how lucky we are.
I have just been filling the dishwasher, and I was putting the cups in the dishwasher when I noticed a lipstick stain on one of the cups. My wife rarely wears lipstick, and when she does it's when she's going out.... This was my lipstick stain!!!!!
It doesn't seem that long ago when I didn't own any make up. Whilst my wife knew, my crossdressing was very limited. Things like lipstick stains, having to sort out who's panties are who's when hanging out the washing, having to ask for my hand bag sized hairspray back, reminds me of how lucky I am, and how far things have progressed.

I know exactly what you mean Cerys. Whenever I pass the clothes airer and see my lingerie, tights or other girly items hanging there, I can't help a little smile because there are my panties and bra in full view.

@caroline2k My wife asked me to sew a pair of her panties, to repair the waistband. That's when I noticed that we will soon be hard-pressed to keep our panties in the correct person's drawer.

@caroline2k I love this. There was quite a cute pink negligee on our airer the other day (it's mine)

Oh yes, indeed! I mentioned, in a reply to Kaitlyn re nearly getting caught, that I've lost count of the times that I was lucky to escape detection for years but nowhere near as lucky as I am now.

I, too, was tickled pink (now there's an appropriate use of that term), the first and subsequent times that my girly things have been swinging on the clothes line in the garden. I like to hand wash my tights/stockings and panties before going to bed and even seeing them on a radiator or the shower rail gives me a thrill.

Life is good 😊

@dazzler Oh absolutely 🙂  I know I'm luckier than most in terms of being able to dress, but yes, lipstick on cups, an airer completely full of my girly clothes, my handbag hanging on the coatrack in the hallway, and many more.

I also like it when I come to the end of a bottle or a packet of something mainly for feminine use (moisturiser, make-up remover, cotton pads etc.) and think, 'I've used all of that'.

I love these little reminders of how lucky we are, Cerys!

Yes, lipstick stains on glassware are a nice reminder.

Makeup stains on the pillows and sheets are not!  They are a total PITA to get out!

Yes, this is what happens when one gets home dead tired and forgets to remove her makeup!

@dazzler Agreed, While neither of us wear make up the ability to share clothes is a constant blessing, not that Mrs B spends a lot of time in my jeans you understand but she has been seen in a few of my dresses from time to time (& vice versa)

@sashabennett You're kinder than me. My wife can buy her own dresses, she's not borrowing mine! We just have the rule of not buying matching dresses

@sashabennett that'll be the thin wedge. My nail polish will be getting "borrowed" after that!

Totally agree. My wife helping me put my lingerie on the dryer in the airing cupboard after being washed - with comments like "these are so nice and pretty"; both touching up our lipstick in the coffee shop after a drink; comparing the way we each make use of clear nail varnish. It can all become so natural, but it should be something we never take for granted. We.Are.So.Lucky!

@dazzler I love all of the traces of my femininity that I am starting to see.   Seeing my lipstick on a glass or a cup is always great and I just love it when I get a catalog of women's clothing in the mail addressed to Lauren.   It also amazes me when I walk by a mirror or large window and I see a reflection of how Lauren looks to the world.

Snap, Becca! I've turned my browsing history off just in case I open the app anywhere I may be overlooked. Bras, breastforms, tights......

@dazzler I had the same thing happen to me last week while putting dishes in the dishwasher! Realizing it was MY lipstick made me happy to a ludicrous degree. And I love when I walk out into my garage and see my delicates drying on the rack.

Just three years ago I never dreamt this would ever happen in my life, but here I am, dressing as a woman whenever I get the chance and loving every minute of it without the shame and guilt I used to have.

I’m also grateful because last week I dressed fully and when shopping for makeup and one of my sons went with me! And to show my appreciation to him, I bought him some beautiful, blue nail polish he picked out! Now I REALLY never saw that one coming!

Grateful hugs, Jill

My wife has a little joke about only lightly kissing me when she is dolled up. As she doesn't want to transfer lipstick onto me.

I have been dressing a long time and still have those 'moments' and hope I never take anything for granted and enjoy more moments as it took a lot to get here.

I agree with you. There is a good feeling that comes over me in the morning when I have my coffee and see the lipstick stain on my coffee mug. I get the same feeling when I change my earrings and feel dangling earrings rubbing against my neck or looking at my painted nails (they may not have color but the shine of the pink tinged clear is pretty). I have a clothes rack in my study with clothes that my wife and I share which is nice to see when I go in the room. It is the subtle reminders that make life enjoyable.

XOXO

It is such a wonderful feeling being so open with my wife enjoying life being feminine. I am 69 years old and she is so understanding knowing how much I have missed in life because of hiding the woman inside of me. She enjoys seeing me so happy when presenting as a woman. Life as a woman never gets old I look forward to each morning drinking my coffee with my lipstick stain on the cup. I look forward to putting on my bra each morning and putting in my earrings life is so wonderful.

My wife and I have always worn different style pantyhose. She wears Legg's Sheer Energy and I wore Legg's Active Support. Hanes purchased Legg's and stopped making Active Support. My wife has always done the laundry and quietly separated the pantyhose and any other feminine clothes of mine, putting them in my drawer. I am in the process of trying to find pantyhose that fit the same as Active Support, not having much success.

The other morning, she poked her head in my office/Jackie room and commented how difficult it was to tell her pantyhose from mine. She was not mad, just very matter of fact.

Some of us are very lucky, indeed.
