I’d finished putting most of my CD pictures from my last 5 years onto google photos; looking through them I could discern that my dressing style had a number of influences
- I look somewhat like my mother, dress in some ways in the same style as her, also the way I stand.
- Some of my outfit ideas were taken from one of my SO’s friends.
- When wearing outfits with trousers or jeans I have a similar look to my SO’s sister-in-law.
I can see I have evolved my own style and look from the above and other influences which I can’t clearly identify.
What influences can you discern in the way you look when en femme?
Hello Alicen.
I'm definitely influenced by the 50's. I just love the colours and the style.....
but apart from that, I don't deliberately follow any type of fashion or " celebrity" or anything else really. I just buy and wear the clothes that make me happy....
Works for me.
I also love to keep a lot of photos to see how I have progressed...

🌼 I think I tend to have an 80’s vibe in my choices.. especially with the hair bows and floral print tops/dresses..🦋🎀💎
Hi Alicen it would be lovely to see your pictures, my style 1960/70's middle aged woman. It mind sound unusual but its a style that resonates with me ( my mothers ).
Best Wishes
Love Sarah xx
I never paid a lot of attention to who I looked like for a long time until I moved back in my mom's house. A lot of my costume jewelry was hers originally, and my sister told me one day that I resembled mom a lot when I wore her jewelry, except for my height, mom was only 5' 6" where I am 5' 13.5". With my longest wig, I really do resemble her.

Interesting!
I'm influenced by whatever I think is pretty and hides my arms. Love so many looks and picked up a lot from my wife. Still I think I have to hide my pipes. Makes me look like a girl arm wrestler.
Well I think I was tremendously influenced by my mum and sister in my early years. Definitely influenced by wife and her support. My eldest daughter certainly as an opinion on what she sees me wearing. Basically over the years I have developed my own feminine tastes, and like a lot of ladies send considerable amounts of time looking at catalogues and online shopping apps. The secret is like with any clothes, age, figure and tastes, and learning what looks good and what compliments us. Not everything looks good on everybody. Confidence and self honesty in what you see in the mirror is a major factor too.
