We lose members from CDH from time to time for various reasons. One member has recently left CDH and she and I was pretty close. However it never occurred to me to exchange personal contact info, just in case, because we had this great site to communicate. She left suddenly and without a word. Now I have no way to get ahold of her. I miss my sis very much.
I write this as a wakeup for all. If you really enjoy some ones presence in your life. Exchange contact info. You never know what tomorrow will bring.

I so agree...I asked friends if they had a " safe" email address so I could send them Christmas cards....I got about two dozen or so....and the support I received by email when I needed it, from those same girls....was awesome....

I lost one very recently as well Trisha, one with whom I'd just made a connection, possibly its even the same one. Its a shame really, hopefully they and others find their way back home to us.

I must say when I saw your bye bye post my heart sank. You are such a vibrant and lively person and we all benefit from your presence. I want you to know I am here for you if you need me.
As for a safe email, I have come to realize that I am lees worried about safe and more interested in happy. My femme personna is a part of who I am and if not for my family I would probably be Trisha 24/7. I dont really have a dominant side just equally he and she and thoroughly enjoy both. So safe for me is defined differently than others.

I lost a friend my self Missie cook all the sudden she was not there. no idea what happened to her. I like to keep in touch with my friends here on C.D.H. its a blessing to have friends like us that under stand. sorry for the people who lost a friend. if they left the site hope they will come back if they left this world well they will be in heaven watching over us.
This does unfortunately occur. Yes it’s always great to trade contact info . This has helped a few times. I lost friends that have dropped from sites but we are still in contact with each other. Hugs Katey
