I’m really new here and thusly really new to discussing any of this. My question is, how many people here have what are considered ‘Manly jobs’?
I work construction and get a kick out of wearing panties and during cold months, leggings under my work clothes. We’re supposed to be the tough guys out there, fit a stereotype of macho-ness. I’m trying to feel less alone in the world about this kind of stuff and wondered how many others do the same.
I’m sure others will chime in on this too. There was a thread not too long ago about folks’ occupations. I’ll just say this: you will be blown away by the vast variety of jobs and occupations here. It will give you total confirmation that you and everyone else here are totally ordinary people going about their daily business. You are in a community of like minded souls from every walk of life. Quite “normal” people you can say. Just prettier than most. 🙂
Welcome to you JP.
Best,
Clara
Hello JP
Welcome to CDH.
I think you will find many ladies here under dress wear panties and bras under their guy clothes.
You mentioned you feel alone, you have found a wonderful place to help you with that because you are not alone.
Reach out ask questions and take a tour of the forums.
Hugs
Jessica
There are many occupations where a little bit of extra warmth would be a welcome experience.
Lumberjaks, fishermen, polar explorers and long distance skiers to name but a few. I wonder if they know they are concidered cross dressers?
its what was pounded in your head ever since you were a kid. you have to be tough. guess what? the world is changing and so are you. you can be tough and pretty all at the same time. you are different, but now a days everyone is different, so we are all the same. just be happy who you are and everyone will see its all cool.
Hi JP Nice to meet you and you are not alone girlfriend .. Im a mechanic and store attendant and so much want to underdress but if i were outed it would be a disaster and would have to move away from the area i live as such a small community and small minded also ..so just wanted to say hello and believe me you are not alone here girl ..

Lots of the girls here work in jobs considered manly. Lots underdress. I work in a shipyard as an engineer testing propulsion systems in new ships. I also under dress.

Thanks for the input. It’s not something I bring up nor would I at the break table.
Welcome JP, I don't suspect for one moment the only one who underdresses for work, be it manual or otherwise. If you enjoy doing so fine. It's probably the way a vast majority of us here started our journey. Good luck.
Hello JP! You would be surprised at the number of “tough guys” who enjoy wearing women’s clothes, especially panties. We will never know for sure, but I’m quite positive the percentage would be high. So, don’t let that concern you.
The first and most important lesson you learn as a member of our community is, you are not alone. There is no question too trivial or thought too silly that you cannot share it here and know that you will get an honest and nonjudgmental response.
Have fun and enjoy your little secret under your work clothes!
Hi JP, and welcome to the most supportive family, ever.
I am a heavy duty field/mobile mechanic, and I wear my bra, thigh high nylons with garters, pinkish clear nail polish on my fingers, and fiery red on my toes, and "Daringly Nude" matte lipstick, everyday.
You are definately not alone😊
Hugs, Regi.
Hi thank you for this post. I’m in the military and it’s hard but I still underdress. It’s both scary and exciting that no one knows what I have on under. I also think hmmmm...Am I alone? Perhaps there is someone here just like me.
Thanks for asking the question, JP. I love the topic! I work in a school, which is not necessarily a "manly job," but I also might feel like I was the only one if I underdressed at work. So far, I have only underdressed for occasional walks in the neighborhood park and I found that very thrilling. If I ever found out that someone else in the park was also underdressing, I would feel so much more empowered!
Lead industrial mechanic here only dress when I can at home.I try not to overthink this stuff too much it just gets in the way.I just enjoy the days that are available
Hi JP.
interesting topic...I work in the leisure industry...nooooo, nothing to do with red lights....
I work 8 hour days, sometimes less and have weekends off....so all the rest of the time, grace rules the roost, so I never underdress...
unless you include painted toenails..
best wishes, grace xx
