Meeting a fellow CDH member

Good for you Sweetie, I always enjoy hearing positive news!!

I too have met in person three girls from CDH/TGH and always had a positive experience. Of course two of the meeting turned into a one time sexual thing as they both were married but very curious, "(names witheld for obvious reasons")!! Never kiss and tell!!! In fact, one girl has become a very good freind to me and we text/talk all the time and I love her dearly. I have been supporting her thru her coming out of the closet, and to her freinds and family, starting HRT and more. (I have that effect on people!!) The only problem we have is that we live 6 or 7 hours apart, so we cannot visit each other as often as we would like, and it's not sexual, just good freinds, she's happily married and thats fine!

So Girls, get to know someone here. It is so rewarding to have a freind who understands and has simbiliar interests and you don't have to have sexual relations or fall in love, just be freinds.!!

Hopefully you meeting Beverly will turn into a great friendship for the both of you. I also have met a fellow CDH member, but I met them before I joined CDH. I know CDH member Lorie Peace from my local CD/TG support group. When I first started looking at CDH and saw the articles and forum posts she had written and realized it was her; I asked her about CDH. Knowing that she was on CDH made me feel confident about joining. Not long after I joined CDH, Lorie helped me upload my profile photo.

P.S. shout-out to Lorie, thank you for being a CD friend to me.

I've now met a few in person, all wonderful people. Its always a joy to put a physical being with a name and theres more that I'm close with on the site that I'd like to sit down with.

See, this, right here, is but one reason that this is the best site for gender fluid people on the internet.

This is an account of mine from 2 summers ago when I used to belong to another CD site.  Anyway, here's what happened:

It all started when my wife hosted a picnic for all the female members of her side of the family (males being excluded). The gals have done this for the past 20 years or so, taking turns hosting it. When the guests started arriving and I had the pig roast well underway, I headed for the beach for my soon to be perfect 'beach day'.

I had bought a new swim suit which I was eager to try out. It is a plain black string bikini. While not a thong, it does have a 'cheeky' back. Real T-backs are illegal on beaches around here, otherwise I would gladly wear one.

I had been there about 10 minutes or so when three guys came and set down their stuff right next to me. I wondered why they did that when there was plenty of room, the beach was not at all crowded. I was to find out why shortly afterward when they all took off their street clothes. All 3 of them were 'bikini boys' just like me! So then We all introduced ourselves.

It got even better when one of them noticed a corner of my panties sticking out of my beach bag. He asked me if I was a CD'er. When I told him that I was, he volunteered that he and the other two were also. That started a couple of hours of CD talk among the four of us. All four of us became one happy family, at least for that one afternoon.

Invariably the subject of the internet came up, as it usually does at times like this. We named the various sites that we were active on. Although none of the other three are members here, they all do belong to a site that I used to belong to. I asked all three of them if they'd be OK with sharing their user names with me. When they gave me their internet names, I was blown away! Here I was meeting in person the people I had corresponded with hundreds of times in the past! The whole beauty of it was that it was totally accidental. I have never deliberately arranged an in-person meeting with anybody I've met online, and I probably never will. Sounds too dangerous, heard too many horror stories.

That's awesome to hear. Beverly is a wonderful person,  as I only know her from our site she's a very good friend and wished I could meet her but I'm just too far for a afternoon visit. Did she show you her gardens. She quite the gardener. I met my first cder on my very first time ever being out and that night for me was a remarkable experience and memory I'll never forget. Happy time for sure,  now look forward to doing it again,  and maybe out and about when this disgusting virus finally gets under control. For all of us!!!!

Hi Patty. You are so right. It is always nice to meet and be able to talk with other trans and CDs in person. We all have so much in common. It is our unity that will force society to be more accepting. It makes it so much easier just to know you are not alone.  I am happy for you. Luv Stephanie

I love the idea of spending a day with another CD, just talking, cooking, eating, watching a movie, etc. I wonder if I will ever have that experience.
