Quick story I thought I'd share.
A couple of evenings ago I attended a meeting of the volunteer fire company that I am a member of. It was a well attended meeting, 27 men, 1 young woman and me. As I glanced around the room I realized that I was engulfed in a sea of navy blue! All the guys were wearing navy blue or black shirts with about a half dozen wearing similar logo sweatshirts. Boring!
The only breaks in the predominant color scheme were the young woman (who was wearing a very nice red, black and white abstract patterned blouse) and me. I had on a nice fuchsia polo shirt with a pink tee shirt. Talk about attracting attention and a whole lot of ribbing.
Come on folks, there is a whole color spectrum out there to choose from.
Hugs in pink

As a "fellow" fire fighter Pardon the pun. I feel your angst. I too am surrounded in a sea of navy blue and black job shirts at all our functions. And like you I am always the odd one out!! But, that's the way it is I guess.
Too pink!!!
(((hugs)))

If you took away the shirts with logos or deer horns on them. Both tees and sweatshirts most men around here would be naked.
Totally agree. I got so bored with drab menswear that I have over the years built up a collection of pretty panties, swimsuits and outerwear. Much of it pink, and I live in a conservative community. I've had to buy women's clothing to get the nice colours, although the internet is good for panties and this is due to the increasing acceptance of gays and the growing market for pretty 'sissy' type panties for men. I'm moving on to silk stockings, but shoes could be a problem.
Hi Jillian Be careful your true colors are showing. The good thing is woman and girls like us are the only people that take notice and we think its cute.

Not surprising, given the circumstance. When I was a volunteer firefighter/Paramedic, the uniform was blue Dickies work pants and blue tee; and if a call came in, there wasn't time to change. Volunteers are always on-call.
Hi....
Well, around my town, black is the order of the day. Black jeans, hoodies, T - shirts, trainers or shoes, coats and even caps.....
Looking out the window, you're never sure if it's night time, overcast or just a group of men passing.....boring 💤💤💤.

Two months back I went into the local drugstore after work and was waiting in the line when I noticed the young guy at the counter. Tattoos all across his back and down his arms. He was dressed to the nines in the cutest black dress with sheer lace at the top. Fancy nylons, clutch and heels. She looked fantastic, I was in awe of the confidence and jealous too. All this was before I came out to my wife, I have to believe that it was a tipping point for me. A week later she knew. Oh and I was wearing blue t shirt and blue jeans. Very drab.💕💋 Katie
No wonder the women at work think I’m a little different, I’m always noticing what they wear and if they’ve had a haircut. 💕💋 Katie
Let ‘em show I say!
Hi Fiona,
I have shirts and tees in all the colors I can find. I’ve got sky blue, all shades of red (including pink) lavender, salmon and greens. My wife has favorably commented on it on number of times.
Also I seem to be the only male I know that enjoys shopping.
