Hey, girls! I have always touted the Shein app for buying clothes because of their incredible sizing information. @cindylouho made me aware of this magical place and I have spent thousands there. My closet is bursting. I always tune in to the live stream to try and win points to get discounts. A few months back, I started doing photo submissions to try to get selected as one of the 3 people to win additional points on the Wheel of Shein at the end of the show.
My submissions have been shown four times and I even got picked on my second submission for the Wheel of Shein and won the grand prize of 2500 points ($25 credit).
I got picked again this week and won 1500 points! Fifteen dollars credit is great but that’s not why I am posting this. To make sure people are submitting new photos, they have a question of the day. They question was what do you stand up for? I said that I stand up for transgender equality. Not only does the host show my photo submission but she always tells the viewers the submitters answers to the question. So, over 268,000 people were made aware of trans rights with that simple submission and I got $15 credit in the process!

I gotta add that they have even started using trans models for some stuff, too. You have to get really deep in there to see them because there are soooo many clothes. But this is the best place for trans girls not only because of the highly detailed sizing info and trans models but also because they are willing to pick an openly trans person on the live stream and mention trans equality!

Thanks, Donna. I wouldn’t fit in with their professional models that they use for some of the clothes. However, if they ever asked me to be one of the guest models for a SheinLive show, I would jump at the chance!

Thanks, Stephanie. I am definitely going to keep submitting photo submissions to the live show. I always put a transgender reference on each photo. I have one ready for tonight with the Trans Pride flag and the words Trans Pride above it. My photo has been picked twice but they also showed it two other times in which I wasn’t picked for Wheel of Shein. So, the exposure is there even if I don’t get the free points. Kudos to Shein for the exposure!

Do they at times ask guests to do shows. Could be a foot in a door to some bigger things.

I love Shein! I’d say 95% of my clothes (not counting intimates) are from Shein. The sizing information is second to none. It makes buying for my wonky body shape easy. Plus, the free returns in the US means I can experiment and if something doesn’t work, I just send it back. In fact, I have 37 returns in less than a year already.

Well, the product models are half my age and several sizes smaller. Probably, do modeling as their main job. That really doesn’t interest me. I love my work and I couldn’t really uproot and start modeling even if I thought I could. But a guest model on the live show isn’t unrealistic from what I have seen.
