I am so incredibly excited... I just ordered my fist pair of REAL breast forms! I've been using what ever I can stuff into my bra like socks etc, then I made a air of foam ones, but the feel of the weight of the breast was missing and there is NO bounce. Then I tried water balloons,... The do not have the right shape.

So, I told my self when I reach one of my weight loss goals (40 lbs... only 60 more to go) I would treat myself to a nice pair of C cup (800g/pair) silicone Ivita forms. I just ordered them now I have to decide on which mastectomy bra to buy to hold them in place.

I'm just so excited!!!

Thats exciting I know, I ordered my second pair ( the first ones got something on them that caused them to really get messed up a few years ago), and I'm anxiously await their arrival. The feeling of them on your chest is awesome. And the look is amazing. You will be so excited to put them on every day.

Congratulations on yhe weight loss too.

Kelly

Silicone forms are the best - you'll love them!

I am curious about why a mastectomy bra - personally, I wouldn't go anywhere near one.  I use standard bras - plunge, balcony or full cup and they work perfectly - and are a whole lot prettier...

I got my first breast forms 20 years ago. Now over the years I have had 6 or 7 pairs there average life has been around 2 or 3 years for me, but the one I have now is 4 years old now  I also want up a cup size.  I’m sure you’ll enjoy wearing them and so have I everyday I can’t wait to put them on after work.

I just got my first ones last week.  I celebrated with a new red bralette and a black strapless one.  Just love the look.  Taking a bit of getting use to.

Isabel... I thought a mastectomy bra or pocket bra would hold them in place without any mishaps. Do they stay in place with a regular bra?

I got my first breast forms a few months back. You will enjoy them every chance you get to put them on. The feeling of laying down with them and waking up with them on is such a great feeling. Girls, do you have any recommendations what brand strapless bra work best with breast forms. In the sense the forms wont fall out if your wearing a dress out.

That's exciting news! They make a huge difference. I started with sock stuffing and then rice-in-hose bags, but they always looked terrible and were disappointing. I would usually just go flat-chested. A few years ago I got my first pair of breast forms and I'm so happy with them. They just have the right bounce and jiggle and weight. I definitely feel more fem with them on. I just use a standard bra, but you need one with decent support or they can slip out.

Hi Mary Ann,
Yes, forms will stay in place with a properly fitting ordinary bra and give you more 'bounce'.  Depending on the shape of the forms you've ordered some bra styles might be better than others, so maybe start with a full cup and take it from there.  I have some of those, but have more in a plunge or balcony style so I can show off a bit of cleavage!  That really depends on how much natural boob you have though - I have enough to give quite a decent cleavage with forms in.  The forms I use the most are the Transform Premier Classic 1s from TheBreastFormStore, to give you an idea of the shape I use.
Whatever you use, enjoy having them - the difference between silicone forms and other methods of filling a bra (I've tried most) is like night and day - just no real comparison!
You have good reason to be excited...

That's wonderful Mary! May I also suggest form covers or pocket bras. I have been wearing my forms much more during lockdown and self imposed isolation and this has caused a problem for me. I started to develop small blisters on my boobs, probably due to sweat and the forms sticking to my skin. It has caused me to have empty bras until the blisters heal properly.

Hello ladies,

Perhaps the CDH review I did on the four brands of breast forms I have owned/still own will help someone when this topic is discussed

Happy dressing,(with your forms in lovely lacy bra)

Hi Mary Ann

Way to go with your weight loss!

You're certainly in for a treat, I've only had my 1000g forms for a few weeks and can't believe the difference. Don't be in too big a hurry to order a new bra if you already have C cup ones, I've found that many of my current bras do a good job of holding them in place.

Enjoy
