Well my sisters today I did a first for me.
I had a Dr's appointment and I decided wear panties. Oh did I tell you that it was with a Urologist because I did a blood test and my GP saw that my Prostrate levels were high so she sent me to a Urologist to have me checked out.
Well I am en-femme 24/7 but when I go out I under dress. Today I decided "The Hell With It I'm going to wear Panties to my appointment" and I did. I have done this before BUT no doctor ever asked me to undress so I figured I was always safe and as it turned out it always was. But this time I figured he would give me an internal Prostrate this was my chance to come out to my doctors, and Guess what I was right.
After a very unconcerning questions and answer to me and several other questions and talking to me for about 20 min he told me that". He had to do an internal exam and to drop my pant and turn around. As I was lowering my male pants I said to him " I am a crossdresser and I am wearing women's panties". His answer to me was 'OK that's alright no problem". Boy did that ever make me feel good.
It just shows me that doctors and other medical professional are just that PROFESSIONALS and it doesn't bother them at all.
So ladies wear your en-femme and don't worry about it. Oh yeah just a side note I live in South Carolina heart of what is known as the "Bible Belt"

I was wearing all my male clothing except the women's panties.
Way to show confidence, Kathleen. You must have known there was more than a tiny chance that a UROLOGIST might ask you to drop your knickers. And, you literally did. Keep going, it does get a little easier every time, but just as fun, to show yourself to someone and have them act like it's a normal thing. Which I wish more people did.
I'm going to my doc's office for a check once a week for a few weeks. I figured, they know I'm on HRT, so I've been wearing a short denim skirt and flats. Nobody batted an eye, and the receptionist even asked me if I had a preferred pronoun. They never asked before. Professional and considerate.

Yes Gabi, I did realize it long before the appointment. I just wanted to 1) see if it was true what everyone here has said on CDH says about doctors appointments and 2) I wanted to take another step outside the closet and it felt GREAT!!!!!

I worn black bikinis once which didn’t look all that bad to scream women’s panties and nothing was said and my Dr is a woman.
Next Thursday I have to go for a MRI and then a biopsy and I'll be wearing panties again. All my information is shared with my other doctors and I fully expect that me being a CD will be told to them. If not I'll tell them.
