More light hearted than anything else. I was going to put as a poll but I'm sure there be so many different experiences.
The question is, as you shift from femme to drab or (reluctantly I'm sure) femme to drab, what little thing or things make it harder?
One for me is eye make up. I wear contacts so they're great for applying make up but every clean up I seem to manage to get something in my eye, usually cleaner or a bit of my excessively used mascara lol 😊
Go for it xx
Kay, for me it's wondering how "permanent" some of my makeup is. It seems that more and more cosmetics companies are trying to market their various products as long lasting or long wearing. This particularly applies to mascara, eyeliner and lipstick. So when I'm removing my makeup I'm always anxious about whether or not I'm going to leave any tell-tale traces. I had one lipstick that I discovered stained my lips bright red. It took me forever to get rid of any lasting colour.
So now if I'm buying makeup and the store assistant says "and this one is really longlasting" I just tell them that it's not what I need and I want to be able to remove it easily.
Kay, first off, your Profile picture is simply beautiful! A heads-turner, "passable" look.
Now, the little thing:putting away the jewelry.☹️
I look forward to your posts.
Bingo! Makeup is my Everest. The ultimate challenge to do right myself. And , #1 is eye makeup especially shadow. I gave up on liner. Any decent pictures of my face are from makeovers, ( Amy is amazing). My close confidants on style say the solution is practice , practice. Removal not a problem for me, after washing my face, I use the eye makeup removal pads. Use one after another until they come back clean.
For me that "little" thing is taking off the bra. Such a downer. Depending on my emotions it can be rough.
I agree with the bra!
