Hi beauties! So thankful for crossdresser heaven, where we can express our true self and learn and grow into the girls we were meant to be! Thought I would share my next step...working on my face, I have had a gotee for many many years, my wife likes it. I have mentioned shaving it off ( in order to secretly develop Effie more) but my wife always objects to shaving it off ( she does not know about my crossdressing ). I’ll keep mentioning it once and a while to get her used to me not liking my gotee anymore, and in order to slowly have my wife accept me shaving.... I started slowly thinning it down. Day by day running a dry razor over it, slowly letting it disappear.. I’m almost there, it’s almost gone and she hasn’t said anything ( probably because she knows that I don’t like having it and she is just keeping quiet about it), but that’s how I have gone about getting rid of the gotee ! Have a blessed day !

Just shave it off Effie, it's that simple.

Hi Effie!  Nice first step, nothing too severe for your wife to handle - I hope!  I had a goatee ( van dyke?, whichever... ) for decades.  I guess I figured if I have to play the role of "Man", I might as well look the part, lol.  A lot of women do not like the tickle effect of a moustache anyway, and I think your wife will appreciate how much younger you look without it.  Not saying you're looking old or anything now hon!!

Now, shaving the legs..... that will be a biggie!  Remember, one step at a time.😊

Thanks Stevie! Actually I already shaved my legs and backside ( been doing so for years) , my chest, and underarms too!! The next and last step for shaving is this gotee.. it’s just got to go, no respectable girl would go around with a gotee 😉!

I am in the exact same position.  Just this weekend, I said to wife that I wanted to shave off my goatee and her response was “not a chance in hell”.  I’ve had it for about 25 years so long before we met so it’s all she’s ever known and hence I do get it, but I’m getting very itchy to start feminising my face.  Thinning it down is a great way to test the water and ease her in gently so I might steal that idea please hehe.

I wish you all the luck with this Effie.  Do keep us updated how things go.

As far as I’ve got is telling her that I’m going to have a pedi when salons re-open (omitted the mani bit for now) and making lots of comments on how pretty her clothes are and how great they feel.  I know I know, it’s not really progress at all but in my head I feel I’m getting somewhere.

Love Rachel

That's even better Effie!  Saved the one thing that shows for last.  I think you can call this the last step then.  Shaving wise that is.  I do not mean to sound exclusive of anyone, but you're right!  Goatees on ladies just doesn't cut it!  Lol.

I too never mean to demean anyone on what they prefer.. I should say for me, I don’t want Effie to have a beard, but other CD’s might like that and thats ok too!!
Thanks Stevie,  hugs

Go for it Rachel!! I feel you... I have had my gotee for 20 years with my wife...I make excuses like, “ it’s turning grey and I don’t want to have to color it all the time” lol..one thing for me though, I don’t think I will ever be able to tell my wife of my crossdressing.. she is deeply religious, grew up in a strict family, it would destroy our marriage... so its a secret from her, but I do want to take Effie out in public eventually, maybe some evening with another CD girl walking around the mall... Hang in there Rachel, we each have to take our steps as they come..

Effie.

You say you've had it for years, when your wife feels how soft and smooth you are without it, she will probably secretly be happy!!!

Huggs, grace x

She may just be trying  to reassure you that it looks good on you  when you talk about shaving it. If you just shave it off its definitely  a sign of confidence at least in my eyes.
