Hi Ladies,
Now that Fall has arrived and it’s getting chilly at night which means winter is around the corner. I was looking on line for a warm flannel nightgown and noticed nightgown or night gown in the On-line search. I always had seen one word.
Are both correct or is the one or two word used more often?
I’m sure Grace and Stevie use Baby Doll which is two words.
Alice
always notice while looking at them online they all one word NightGown or babydoll. But you right can make it 2 words and still find the links to all them.
Donna
Myself always use one word for either of choices.
Hi Donna,
The pull down had both that could be clicked on. Curious that it had both one and two words.
Alice
if do baby doll pulls up baby dolls babydolls bring up the other.
Yeah - like Donna, I prefer one word for both.
Hi Alice i like the one word also easyier hugs girlfriend .. Wife reminds me every night to get comfy and put on a nightgown and panties for bed just love her ..

Hmm. Night gown or nightgown just to make sure one word says it all … I wear a nightie to bed all the time and sleep like a baby lol. 😴😴
Hugs, Leonara
Such a pleasent feeling being all girly and yippee looking so cute he he hugs girlfriend Leonara 💋💋💖💖 Stephanie Bass
Hi Alice!
I asked my Amazon Echo how to spell nightgown and she spelt it as one word.
Love and hugs, Stephanie 💖
It's just one of those words that can go either way, like everyday, sometime, or everyone. It probably depends more on your dialect and regional influence. Neither way is wrong, IMO.

Hi Donna,
Good point!
Alice
Hi Stephanie,
How sweet! You have a keeper.
Alice
Hi Leonara,
I agree.
Alice
It's the only way to get a good night's sleep. In warm weather I sleep in a nightie in cold weather I sleep in a nightgown but being multi-layered and very lacy and feminine I call them negligees.
Hi Lacey,
A great choice, “Negligee!”
