Hi Ladies-
I hope you all are doing great today.
Hey I was wondering if there are any nomadic ladies out there. My wife and I aren't retirement age yet, but are considering selling everything and taking off. I was wondering if anyone has done that and what they're experiences are like.
We were just out on the road for two weeks and I felt like I had to be in man mode the whole time. Which made me start to wonder if anyone else has had this experience and if my two dreams (nomadic living & and CDing) were compatable.
All my best
Jessica
I can't say that I am living the nomadic life, but I have made several road trips en femme as you describe. Being able to dress however I wish is one of the great benefits of travelling. With no worry of running into someone I know, it has allowed me to be myself without fear. My longest round trip en femme was driving from Michigan to Maryland (about 9 to 10 hours). Most, however, are more local ( 2 to 3 hours).

Hi Jessica! This is an interesting Question. I have been in several countries in the world. I have also logged over 2 - 1/2 million miles thru-out North America, on the road in various vehicles from 18 wheelers to buses to trucks and cars. Sometimes en femme totally but always wearing lingerie the rest of the time.
If travelling alone en femme, you must be ready and able to deal with what the road throws at you from break-downs to aggressive drivers to hitch-hikers and other roadies at truck stops. It can get dangerous. In days gone by, it was fairly safe............not any more. Nomadic living has its' good points, meeting other good people, visiting historic and scenic sites and so on. To-day, however, there is great risk..........police are never around when needed, a lot of them do not take well to nomads and there are more drifters than ever who are real bad-asses. Spending your days in a car and trailer with out of state or province plates is a neon light to them. A vacation can be OK on well traveled routes but heading across country is full of perils. To-day you must be prepared to defend yourself, carrying firearms is a nightmare. Every state has its rules and regulations, you will be jailed until everything is sorted out by police and they do not hurry themselves if you are an out of towner.
Sorry to rain on your idea..........I was lucky enough to have done such travelling when times where better...to-day....no chance. I stop for no-one, irregardless of what is going on......I will phone 911....down the road. Please check out local police along each planned route for advice.
Good luck with you decisions and may God look over and protect you.

I can't see why not. You would also have the advantage of while being out as Jessica, if you encounter a situation in a location that makes you uncomfortable, you will be leaving that place behind anyway.
I have road tripped extensively since living as Gina full time and agree with Lady V that one has to be cautious when on the road, especially a woman alone. I have driven across country twice and many places in between. I travel during the day, avoiding desolate back roads. I plan my stops and make reservations early, arriving in time to be settled before dark. I don't do things alone that I would expect a woman to avoid. When I do explore, it is where there are people about. I thoroughly enjoy traveling and have a LE CCW that allows me to carry a firearm in all 50 states. I don't think I would ever travel alone without a way to defend myself in an emergency. If I can I use family restrooms or if not possible, just confidently stroll into the ladies room and quickly take care of business without lingering or looking about. I dress comfortably and according to the weather, so I can be in shorts or a parka depending on local conditions. Just like everywhere else, one has to be always vigilant and use common sense.
Hey Ladies-
Thanks for the responses, and sorry that it's taken so long to reply.
I've never been big on guns and really don't like the idea of carrying one everywhere. I was thinking more about if anyone has ever considered selling everything, buying an RV and hitting the road. Then you could live life as a woman and see the country. I guess everyone has their own dreams. Right?
