Hi ladies
it’s a bit of a sad one, not everyone story can have a happy ending where their SO embraces their partners choices.
I had a long talk with my SO last night. Essentially me being Amy is hurting her, causing her no end of stress, and is damaging the marriage. I can see no other options before me but to bring to an end my dressing at home. I might still try going out, it won’t be as frequent, but most of all, I can’t be rubbing the subject in her face. So being on websites like this one I feel is just too much. Who knows, sometime in the future when time has past, I may return. My SO may have come to terms with me having Amy in my life, if that does, this goth gurl will definitely be back.
But for now, Amy will be a part of me, just not visually or vocally.

Oh wow - I don't know where to begin to express my sadness at this turn of events.
Just remember, the hurt is not from your cross dressing, it's from her reaction to it, which will take time to come to terms with.
The pain is emotional, based on assumptions and shock - again, it is not caused by you.
It's not "rubbing it in her face" to want to be yourself and find out more about the subject.
It's the lack of education that causes the stress and suffering not the act or desire, which is not only intrinsically harmless, but the source of healing for so many of us.
