With the 'virus thingy' on the go, being a closet CD (my SO doesn't know), it looks like I'll have no chance to dress for a good couple of months or more. I will definitely miss it, but I'll have to manage. How to keep 'girl me' on the up, to start with I'll do the usual 'body maintenance'...
keep my hair just right
cleanse and moisturise routines
weekly depilation – chest, armpits, forearms and legs
At least then I'll be ready for the next dressing opportunity. I'll have the consolation of seeing my nice legs, and the odd chance to brush my hair into a female looking style. To remind me of all the great times I've had dressed I can go over my diaries and look at my old photos.
I need something to keep me focussed so I've decided to decide on a rework of my wardrobe. To start with I've made a list of all he girl stuff I have, what I'm going to do next is create a future wardrobe plan. Work out what I have to wear and how it works for the things I like to do dressed, then identify the things I need plus some special outfits. In addition what accessories I need, handbags, scarfs, jewelry etc. This means of lots of fun outfit planning and online 'window shopping'.
When I can dress again I'll be able to indulge in some much needed retail therapy 🙂
Yes this virus is certainly complicating to who wants and needs to dress. Unfortunately this may be a while and very hard for many. I'm blessed to be an empty nester so dressing dosen't hurt but for those with family I do feel for and hope they can overcome their anxieties. The best to you all and hopefully better times are ahead.
