Good evening from England....
Hope you are all well....
Mirrors!!!!
A few months ago i posted a story about how i really wanted a full length mirror. How I discovered one in a charity shop at an amazing price....and grace had a WTF moment and went in and bought it!!!!
Well, I have grown to love that mirror....it shows my fully dressed self...it shows me how pretty i can be....and it's a reflection of my development!!!
it can also surprise the hell out of me....I put it in my lounge to see how I looked in some new outfits.....perfect!!!!
but while watching a film on TV....I glanced at the mirror....and I was amazed at the woman looking at me ...this sounds stupid, but I have never really seen grace in " relax " mode....and oh my god, I LIKED it!!!
Mirrors to me are for make up, dressing and getting " ready"....but for everyday life.....it's a whole new ball game....
I now leave it in my lounge....today i saw grace carrying coffee into the lounge in a dressing gown....ok, not a perfect picture of beauty.....but it made me feel wonderful....natural....dare I say, ordinary.....
Sometimes ordinary.....can be extraordinary....however you look, seeing the girl IS being the girl!!!!
Just felt I needed to spill....
....but if you need to say how you see yourself at different times....please feel free......
always yours, grace xx
Good Evening Grace
Mirrors are brilliant things especially for our confidence, personally Sarah will do her make up in a vanity mirror and won't look in the full size mirror until she is fully transformed. On a lighter note I always thought it would be fun for a group of us girls, to do our make without a mirror and allow ourselves to be judged who's best.
Love Sarah
xx
Oh Sarah....
Make up without a mirror!!!!!!
...to quote our gorgeous Genevieve...
be afwaid...be vewy afwaid...
haha. xxx
Good evening Grace,
Certainly not ordinary but extraordinary you are Grace. Your mirror reveals also the true self.

I also will not look in a full length mirror until I feel I am ready. Then I can see the whole presentation at once and see if anything needs adjusting and fine tuning. Waiting until then also cuts down on available time before I head out. That way I don't spend too much time admiring my self. (Done while singing 'I feel pretty')
Once I am out and about, mirrors become a delight. I have to practice discipline and stay on task but reflective windows are wonderful, I can watch myself walk by and grin happily.
Security TV monitors are now joining mirrors as a means of checking ourselves out. I was standing in the check out line at Wal-Mart and glanced up at the security monitor and saw a woman on screen. "Oh, she's attractive. Wait a minute, that's me!!" I now pay attention to security monitors. "Make sure you get my best side, boys." (That would be a 3/4 right side view.)
It may be conceited but becoming a woman has made me fall in love with myself and I can't stop looking. (Oh no! I'm creeping on myself!)

I did that the other day Grace, frightened the sh** out of myself, so I put the mirror in the closet.
Have a full length mirror on one side of my bedroom door love seeing myself when getting ready and all dolled up. Oh after watching a movie past weekend Candyman don't work no candy lol.
Donna
Yes, girl - just being in the moment en femme is the best feeling isn't it? I have a full-length but it is narrow. I like to just sit and feel how the clothes and shoes feel on my body. Nice post, Grace!!
I love my mirrors. I've got a full length on the for my armoire, and another big mirror on the dressing table, they're adjacent at a right angle, so I can use the two of them to get different angles, and I just love it.
I seem to have reached a point where I look in the mirror now and see Bridgette as easily as Wil, however I'm dressed or presenting. Either way, it's just me, and finally I'm happy with who I am and who I see.
Thanks, girls!
Bridgette
Remember when younger age use to go to the fairs and circus and have fun with those funny mirrors that make you skinny or little chubby lol.
Donna
Oh Grace that is so wonderful.
Hugs, Liara
Oh gosh Donna, don't put one of those mirrors in your lounge!!!...that could get really scary.....🤣🤣🤣
Awwww.....noooooo....
out of the closet is the ONLY way x
Beth....I would never ever say conceited....I think it's a good idea to keep an eye on ourselves....there's a lot that can quickly go wrong....
especially when you're out!!
Holly....you would not be alone......... and false eyelashes without a mirror!!!! omg
