I haven't seen this question: What goes on a hangar and what do you put in the drawer?
On hangars for me: skirts, dresses, tops, bras, camis and nightgowns. --A full closet with no room for male clothes.
Into a drawer goes hosiery, panties, garter belts, forms, leggings & wigs. Jewelry: haven't figure that out yet.
Into a second spare room goes all my male clothes.
And a bit of a p.s. Makeup goes into makeup bags except for a couple of everyday lipsticks.
What goes onto hangars? Big stuff.
What goes into a drawer? Little stuff.
What an interesting topic with what I imagine will be interesting answers and opinions.
For me I have a study with a closet where I am able to keep all of Suzanne's things. Dresses, skirts, skorts, blouses, tops, corset and nighties all get hung in the closet and it is full. Wigs are on wig stands on the closet shelf. Shoes are in their boxes stacked on the floor by the closet. Panties, bras, garter belts, stockings, pantyhose, tights and waist cincher are all in a 3 drawer storage unit outside the closet. As for jewelry - bracelets and brooches are kept in a jewelry box on top of a drop down desk, necklaces are kept in the drawer of the desk and earrings are kept on an earring rack on top of my wife's dresser in our bedroom which we share (I have the odd levels and she has the even ones - we do on occaison share earrings). Inside the desk are odd items (wig caps, make up mirror, hair clips, etc). My make up is in a cosmetic bag in a drawer of the vanity in the master bath.
It's funny, as I'm typing this I'm realizing that my man cave has become my she shed. How cute is that?
XOXO
Suzanne
Dresses and nighties go on the hanger, skirts onto the shelf, panties and bras into the drawer, shoes tucked under my side of the bed.

I found some great wig hangers on Amazon…really helps if you’re wanting to get a lot of wigs for different looks. Keeps’em nice.
For me all dress's, tops, night gowns, slips, skirts are all on hangers I bought a bunch of velvet hangers so my clothes stay's on them better. Panties, leggings, hosiery, bra's go in drawers in fact I have the bottom two drawers filled with bras, there big and deep so I can keep them nice and not bunched up..........
I do the same, dresses, skirts, blouses on hangers, the rest in drawers
I have things on a hanger, on 2 wardrobe shelves in drawers, and in 2 small suitcases.
The seasons, and my wims dictate what is hung up and put in the suitcase.
One shelf is dedicated for tights. My panties are in the same drawer with my boxers. And my girl socks in with my boy socks. Ironically the last pkt of female socks I bought, have Jackaroo imprinted on them.
I recently packed away my winter skirts, tops and dresses into a suitcase. The warmer weather is here. My skinny jeans and jeggings folded on a shelf with my other jeans. And 2 skirts.
I hang all my bracelets and necklaces on a stand that has a number of arms jutting out at different levels. All my wigs are on wig stands.
Hangers - dresses, corsets, petticoats, nighties, skirts, tops. Drawer all other lingerie and hosiery. Some wigs on stands, the others on hooks.
Makeup - I have a good-sized dressing table.
Shoes, forms in their boxes.
Accessories, I have hangers for necklaces, and earrings. The only ring I wear is my wedding ring which I never take off. As a glasses wearer, I have 7 pairs of feminine glasses, all in cases.

Everything is on hangars, apart from underwear which is dropped, unceremoniously, into a cube storage box. My make-up sits in a converted wine rack on my dressing table, as do my perfumes, cotton-wool pads etc.
My wigs are on heads, my shoes are in the bottom of the wardrobe, my boots are on tiny hangars, also in the wardrobe. My glasses are in my handbag (AM. purse)which hangs on my door handle.
All my male clothes are in a separate wardrobe.
I keep a pair of trainers and a pair of shorts in Schmoo (my car) in case of accident, breakdown or other emergency that requires the attendance of male me.
My phone fits in my purse (AM. wallet) so I usually have that with me, even in drab.
I always carry a hair brush in femme mode.
When I'm dressing to go out, nothing is on hangars, nothing is in a cupboard. It is spread all over the dresser, the chair, the floor, the bed; all waiting on me to decide what I'm going to wear after I've tried things on. Coming home afterwards is not just a question of removing make-up, I have to clear up everything I didn't wear and put it away again—until next time.
I used to wait for my wife to get ready to go out, now she waits for me!
Hanger: dresses, skirts, blouses, shrugs, coats.
Drawer: lingerie, hip pads and breast forms, two makeup bags, one for the eyes and one for the face, bead necklaces (I must get some kind of hanger for them).
Shoes and ankle boots go in the purpose built shelves I fitted in the bottom of my wardrobe.
Two overflowing jewellery boxes.
Another purge is imminent but this is for the male clothes I don't wear often enough to justify taking up space that's needed for more of Allie's things.
Me to my wife, "Wife!" Wife to me, "Yes, dear?"
"We need another house, this one isn't big enough any more!"
Wife swings frying pan with pinpoint accuracy.....
Hi Dani,
My pattern for the items I use a hanger for is just about identical to yours except my regular female t-shirts get folded nicely and put into a drawer, unless they are one of the growing number of graphic tees that I seem to be acquiring a lot more these days, they get hung.
I also have a closet with no male attire whatsoever. Shoes are in a shoe rack, clothes are hung and my jewelry including necklaces, bracelets, and larger earrings are dangling on a jewelry rack.
Makeup is in makeup bags and lingerie takes up two dresser drawers!
Hugs,
Jennifer
