For those that are like myself which is around 6'0 tall with a husky build but not fat. Do you tend to leave your blouse, tops out or do you tuck it in. I myself leave it out gives me more of a feminine figure.

I'm shorter (5'5"). Up until a few years ago I was carrying more than a few extra pounds in my belly. I have lost a lot of weight. But I generally leave them out. It helps to hide a larger belly, and hides the fact that my waist is straight and not curved.
I'll occasionally tuck it in if the skirt is loose (since I lost weight) and I need the extra volume to keep it from falling off.
I am "only" 5' 10" but also have a long torso and a little of a gut. I always wear them untucked. It lessens the effect of no hips as well.
Untucked. But it’s funny, when drab I always have my shirts tucked in. A guy wearing an untucked shirt looks incomplete.
But a gal with a blouse tucked in looks “strange.”
Go figure. Staci
tucked into skirts. I like the clean lines a blouse tucked in/skirt looks. I find women's blouses tend to be long, so I find short ones. When tucked in, it doesn't hide my vpl which i want.
Tucking in just the front was all the rage in Europe a year or so ago, and now I see it here as well. If done right, it can look cute, but it helps to be young and cute as well, neither of which I am.
Another option I've seen but not tried out is to tuck it in, but leave a bubble hanging out. You can then make this as long or short as you want.
I also wear shape wear, it seems with a dress I maintain a feminine figure but with a skirt and blouse not so fortunate with the blouse tucked in.
Even us GGs have issues with blouses/tops! I'm a little bit busty, so some tops (think blouses with dolman sleeves or bat wing sleeves) make me look rectangular. I'll tuck in if the pants I'm wearing are flared at the bottom. If I'm wearing leggings, or a skinny jean, I'll untuck the shirt and throw a blazer on top. With dresses (because I too have a small paunch, I tend to go toward sheath/column dresses, which accentuate the shape without being too tight.
The one thing that I've carried with me all of these years is "balance". With a wider bottom (flared pants or ruffly skirt), you want to bring the center in closer to the body, and allow for some width in the shoulders (think shoulder pads).
Have as much fun as you can as you decide what your look will be! 🙂
I do not tuck them in
Hi Lexi,
I’m about your height with broad shoulders so generally don’t tuck my blouses/tops.
Alice
Hi Lexi, Vertical stripes can move the eye away from your shoulders. Or jewelry like a necklace or a pair of earrings can shift the eye away from your shoulders to minimize your appearance.
